Stayed here for 2 nights . We arrived very early and the car park was full so we parked up on the road right across from the hotel was unsure about the ticket for parking so asked reception at the hotel and we received a scratch card for parking was free lasted 4 days :) the hotel was clean and... ... at Seacliffe. We had the deluxe room with a sea view and it didn't disappoint. The furniture was lovely the room a good size it was very clean and the view is brilliant from the bay window. We didn't eat in the hotel as we like to get out and about but the breakfast was brilliant and as veggies... More

Saturday of Halowe'en weekend is busy in Whitby - this place had restaurant space for non residents.... no wonder.... Having pre-booked and phoned in our menu choices in advance, as instructed, we arrived at 6.45 for dinner to be served at 7pm (no choice of time), to be told we were 'too early'. We asked if there was a bar... More

Bedroom size was disappointingly cramped but negotiable, although the shower room was a good size. For the room charge we found the room hospitality exceedingly lacking. Absolute tea and coffee basics with instant coffee sachets, supermarket teabags and white sugar. Similarly bathroom cosmetics were absolutely basic with large hand wash and shower gel pump bottles rather than individual single use... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights...very clean & comfortable..the breakfast was lovely...although the plates were extremely hot...the staff were very friendly & helpful...the hotel is right on the sea front with fantastic views, especially if you have a room at the front...only downside was there was no lift to the bedrooms..so not sure if I would stay here again

Spent 4 nights here during folk week. Comfortable clean dormer room with fantastic views. Excellent breakfast with good choice and friendly staff happy to accommodate individual selection of cooked items. As with other neighbouring guest houses the forecourt parking is quite limited but again staff were helpful in finding us space. We didn't use the bar or lounge or have... More

Upon arrival I was told rather sharply that I had not booked in their hotel !! The booking was there when she looked on the computer. On first impression the room seemed OK with a sea view- just a bit expensive at £89 for 1 person. As I sat watching tv I could hear all the movements of my neighbours... More

Rooms are small however very clean and comfortable. Sufficient for a couple of nights. The breakfast was very yummy and freshly cooked. Had dinner one night and it was really nice. We had pre dinner drinks in the bar which is very cute too. The service was great. The owners were lovely and even gave us the heads up on... More

This was our second stay here, the last time it was so good we stayed an extra night. Sadly not so on this two night visit. The location is good and we booked well in advance and got a sea view room. The room is very clean but has a cheap IKEA bed that wasn't very comfortable. The ensuite was... More
