Fantastic stay at the Haven, with a warm welcome from the owners. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The room (1) was well equiped, clean, with a fantastic sea view. The bed was very comfortable giving a great nights sleep. The haven is in a fantastic location within easy access to everything that Whitby has to offer.

I stopped in the Haven on Saturday 4th March for a short one night break with my wife. We stopped in room 2 which had a four poster bed and a great view of the sea. From the minute we booked into the hotel until the minute we left the service and professionalism from the host Stevie was FIRST CLASS....

Lovely room with 4 poster bed and views of the harbour. The breakfast was continental which suited us ( not really a breakfast person). The house was very quiet and relaxing. There is a hairdryer to use and some toiletries, which was nice. The walk to the main front was a few minute walk down some steps. Pubs and eateries...

After a difficult year, a wonderful home away from homes lost. Stevie is my hostess with the mostess and nothing is too much trouble. So much more than a bed and breakfast, it's your place of rest when nowhere else can be.

Excellent as always. Stevie has changed the breakfast from full English to continental. We found it to be a welcome change. A wide variety of items, hams, cheeses, boiled eggs, croissants, yogurt. You could order porridge, toast or toasted bagels. There was still a choice of cereals and in the warmer months fruit and yogurt will be back on. We...

Lovely clean and friendly landlady who ensures your stay is comfortable . Good breakfast Easy to walk into the town centre, very central . Plenty of lovely places to eat such as the magpie fish restraunt , and rusty shears who do a fantastic selection of gins to drink . And a sharing cheese platter with lovely Yorkshire cheeses .
