Fabulous place to stay, right next to the Abbey. Visited for the illuminated Abbey. Would recommend to anyone visiting Whitby. Also you get free entry to the Abbey as long as it's not a special night.

Having visited a few YHA hostels around England. I have to say the YHA Whitby is the best. The location and scenery are outstanding. The place is spotless, the staff very attentive, professional and friendly. Highly recommended.
