Stayed in the family room in the attic. Fantastic room, brilliant views. Really comfortable. Perfect for young family especially as family rooms normally mean you have to whisper in the dark and keep the tv really low. But the way this place was laid out meant it had two bedrooms and a bathroom so it was like a mini apartment....

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your comments. However if there is ever a problem please, please tell us at the time of your stay so that we can do something about it. The hot water currently comes on for 2 hours in the morning, an hour mid morning and 2 hours at teatime. We have never had a...

We have just spent 1 night at Kimberley house with our 2 boys aged 5 and 8. We stayed in room 9 at the top of the guest house. It is a loft conversion and perfect for a small family. The 2 rooms were beautifully decorated and the beds were very comfy. There is a tv in each room with...

I live in Spain but am in England to visit family & friends. My cousin kindly arranged a surprise overnight stay in Whitby at the Kimberley. We stayed in The family suite on the top floor. It wams lovely & clean, spacious with tea & coffee facilities. Breakfast was very good with a good choice of different options. The owners...

We had a mid-week break here recently. Andrew and Rachel made us very welcome and were most obliging. Our room was clean, comfortable and warm ..... which it needed to be given the outside temperatures ! We had a good breakfast and enjoyed the free coffee machine available all day. Kimberley House is ideally situated in a quiet location with...

We booked the family suite for 2 nights during the half term break which to be honest was more than we could ask for! The rooms were a good size, one double and one twin with a seating area, which came in handy as the weather was poor and our teenage kids could sit with their ipads. Plenty of choice...

We managed to stay here for 2 nights in October half term. Rachel and Andrew were great hosts as usual. As the weather wasn't good this time, we were able to sit in the dining room, have a cup of tea and relax instead of being in our room which was nice. ( especially with children and rain!) We were...

Myself and a friend stayed for four nights in October. We stayed in the Family Suite on the top floor, which comprised of a landing which had a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities on a small table, a double and twin room plus on suite bathroom. We paid £50 per person per night which I thought was over...

We were surprised and disappointed to read this review as you made no mention of any of this in our visitors book and on leaving you specifically commented on how lovely your stay had been without any mention of the points raised. The amount charged took into account a single occupancy supplement bearing in mind that you stayed in our...

Our party of 3 brothers at Whitby for the steam gala on the NYMR was made perfect by the welcome we got by Rachel and Andrew. The room in the attic was ideal with two adjoining rooms, great breakfast and friendly chat... we felt at home. Parking no problem at £4 for 3 nights right outside the door. The hotel...
