The food was delicious, staff friendly and helpful and great atmosphere. There is locally sourced classics - Cromer crab, north Norfolk mussels - alongside other delicious offerings. The beetroot houmous was lovely!

I stayed here with my sister as we had tickets to the theatre and decided to make an overnight stay. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and the food in the evening and at breakfast was lovel . The staff were really friendly and it would be an ideal place to bring small children as it had a playroom and...

Taking your dog on holiday means you don't always end up in the chicest hotels. Until that is you stay at the Georgian Townhouse in Norwich. The place is beautifully decorated and each room cleverly laid out. If you have a dog aim to stay on the ground floor where you can have a room with patio doors opening out...

We stayed here for a night with another couple as we were going to the ballet The Red Shoes and the Beer Festival was on the following day. On arrival we were given a warm welcome and our room was lovely, small but at the back of the hotel so very quiet. We loved all the recycled decor, old fashioned...

We stayed over the weekend for the national beer festival. Even though we was only in the room from midnight till 11am, we really enjoyed our stay. The room was lovely, the staff were friendly and the breakfast that was included in the price we got was one of the best breakfasts I've had.

We've stayed here before so weren't surprised about this nice, boutique hotel. However, we think they have recruited more staff in the passed two years and it's great. All members of staff couldn't do enough to help and were always welcoming and smiling. This was despite how busy the hotel, bar and restaurant were. Hotel is shabby chic using recycled...

We booked this last minute for a night away from home, the hotel has a wonderful bar and restaurant at the front. We didn't have our children with us but the bar had a great room set aside for kids to play in. The room was very nicely decorated with a huge selection of local snacks and drinks on offer...

We have just returned from a two night stay at this beautiful hotel. We were pleasantly suprised by the comfort of our room and we had two very peaceful nights sleep here. The breakfasts (included in our price) were very nice and all the staff were exceptionally friendly, professional and helpful. It is only about a five minute walk into...

We stayed in this hotel for a wedding. Even though the hotel was decorated in a quirky style it was not very clean. We stayed in room 1 on the ground floor and the grout around the tiles has turned pink. We were quite itchy sleeping in the bed but the sheets did seem good quality so we were unsure...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This is our hotel review page. If you would like to review the restaurant please visit The Georgian Townhouse Restaurant. Many thanks :) It's about far more than a coat of paint... At The Georgian Townhouse - or TGT as we like to call it - we've created a little hidden city oasis where you come to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Combine 'Georgian' - yet funky modern - interior design with an enormous walled garden, loads of locally sourced quality produce, exciting and evolving seasonal menus, a collection of heritage cooking methods, some stylish and versatile function rooms, an interesting mix of craft beers, wines and spirits, and you begin to envisage TGT: seamlessly merging Georgian charm with a modern offbeat attitude, lashings of style, an abundance of personality. This is a corner where everything is just right. Rooms now open - See you soon! ... more   less
