Only stayed for 1 night whilst visiting friends, but what a lovely place it was. The property has on site parking, which is a bonus, and is in walking distance of the City Centre. The room was very clean and tidy and there were all the usual tea making facilities and toiletries. The room had an ensuite shower which seemed larger than most, which was great. Breakfast was ordered the previous evening by selecting what you wanted off a list, and you chose a time, therefore there was no waiting around. I liked the fact that the toaster was on the table, so you could do your toast when you wanted it and ensured it was done as you like it, never seen this idea before, but i personally liked it. The breakfast room looks out over a lovely garden. On check out I wanted to look at the plantation gardens and Catholic church just up the road, and was told I could leave my car in the car park whilst looking around which saved me moving the car. Highly recommended.…
We stayed in Beaufort Lodge for 3 nights while visiting our daughter living in Norwich. It's a great location, walking distance to the city centre and with lots of great pubs, restaurants and cafes around. Don and Aylwin, the hosts, were very friendly. Our room upstairs was comfortable and clean with a great shower. Very pleasant breakfast room overlooking a beautiful garden. The breakfast was very tasty too. Highly recommended!
Had a lovely stay here on Saturday while visiting our son. Everything was clean and comfortable with mirrors, lights etc all in sensible places! So many rooms don't seem to get these quite right. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great too.
Don and Aylwin are wonderful hosts. Covid protocols were very well managed. Our ground floor room was of a high standard with all the comforts you’d hope for. A good breakfast overlooking the garden. Onsite parking a bonus!
Spent a couple of nights here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Lovely room, spotlessly clean with everything you need. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Aylwin and Dan were extremely welcoming and were clearly coping admirably with the challenges imposed on them. Highly recommended.
