My wife and I decided to have a midweek meal out and decided to go to the The Ugly Bug Inn ( also now known as The Norfolk lurcher). Things started well. The pub is very pleasant and the staff friendly and polite. The magician who showed us card tricks was fun and not pushy if you aren't interested- so...

We've visited this pub several times over the past 4-5 years. It continues to deliver some reasonable food and drink at reasonable prices. Wide ranging menu (maybe a little too wide and nothing was great as a result)and lovely staff.

Lovely evening, wonderful food and wine. Extensive menu. The service was exceptional, especially in the bar with the waiter (and lady who we tipped!). Venue very calm and relaxing. Well worth a visit! Service with a smile!

We stayed here for a friend's birthday. The pub is beautifully decorated and really atmospheric. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. Despite being above the pub, the rooms were quiet. There was a good choice for breakfast and the staff were friendly.

We travelled to Norfolk to visit friends and stayed at the Ugly Bug Inn (now the Norfolk Lurcher). It happened to be an event of Oktoberfest when we were there, but that didn't matter, we were welcomed with open arms. The beer available was particularly good, but I suspect this isn't only for special occasions. Had a lovely meal, and...

There were six of us in total the menu that is offered is so extensive there would not be anyone...

Having been before some time ago and found it good we went with family for lunch. We had chicken pie as the dish of the day. It was not inedible but it was not good - seemed like left overs being used up. The chap looking after us was told but he had no interest in our concerns - guess...

Met up with some friends, and received a nice welcome from an older man and dog. Our coats were taken from us and we were shown to the bar area. After we all arrived, we were shown to our table when an older cantankerous lady insisted I move my handbag as the waiting staff would trip over it (ironically one...
