Spotlessly clean guest house. Very friendly and attentive staff/owners and breakfast was cooked to perfection. Great variety of cooked items and fruit. Nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend this guest house and would stay here again if I came back to Norwich.

Stayed here for a Football weekend with my Son and chose it due to the excellent reviews, price, free parking, free wifi and location. Football was a let down, but the Hotel wasn't! Had a ground floor twin room, which apart from a stained Carpet when entering (that had been cleaned) was spotless and well presented. It had a modern...

We are a moderate group of lads that tour around the country visiting different cities to experience the nightlife and culture, so through our travels we have experienced some good, not so good and abysmal lodgings on our travels. We have however never found a "guest house" and I use that term in the highest esteem possible because this is...

Me and a couple of friends stayed here after I made a terrible mistake and booked the wrong night at another hotel (long story, but it was a large chain who were really unwilling to help) however, when we we called the Marlborough in desperation, they came to our rescue offering us their last room and even providing an additional...

The guesthouse is within walking distance from the railway station, the football ground & plenty of bars & restaurants and a 10 minute walk from the centre of Norwich. We stopped on a football weekend but were pleasantly surprised there was no noise or disturbance. The hotel has been modernised to a high standard and is exceptionally clean. Hosts were...

My friends and I have just checked out from a one night stay at the Marlborough Guest house feeling very satisfied with our stay. We were impressed from the moment we arrive due to free parking, a very friendly welcome and an extremely clean, spacious and modern room with tea/coffee making facilities and free wifi. The beds were also very...

I stopped at the Marlborough Guest House for a Saturday night in February having travelled down to watch a football match at nearby Carrow Road, I was early for check in but was offered a welcome cup of tea and a comfy chair by the owner whilst I waited. my room and indeed the whole of the house was spotlessly...

Having stayed at the Marlborough, I felt it important to write a review as this place is just superb. From the friendly welcome from Robert and Maxine, to the immaculate rooms, the superb breakfast and the location, everything is spot on. The prices of the rooms are very reasonably and with parking available outside, a personal greeting from the very...

I stayed here a few times during my contract in Norwich and found the owner Rob goes out of his way to welcome his guests and make their stay as comfortable as possible. An example of how Rob goes out of his way was when my car battery went flat and I had to call out the AA first thing...

This is our second time here and as the first, the hospitality, hotel generally, cleanliness was outstanding. The hotel and rooms are newly refurbished and I would never hesitate to recommend this hotel. The location is also exceptionally desirable for the city centre, Riverside entertainment, any footy fans and the train station is just a stones throw away. SUPERB!! We...
