Excellent staff especially Natalie...professionally friendly and helpful. Everywhere clean and excellent breakfast. Shame no restaurant open however forced us to find other places to eat nearby which were also very good. Around 20 mins walk to centre which was very welcome as hotel room was warm (due to good weather). Beds not overly comfy in our room (too hard) &...

What a lovely place to stay near the centre of Norwich. Clean, good food and excellent bar with friendly and helpful staff. Particularly well placed for the rail station and football ground this makes it the perfect place for visiting fans to stay.

The hotel was very clean and suitable for an overnight stay. Although my room faced the road, noise was at a minimum. Only note to point is that there is no hotel car park; parking is on the street. I had chosen the hotel because it had said that there was parking available and I assumed it was in a...

Ok so I am a 36 year old female. My boyfriend was working in Norwich Mon - Wed and I was on annual leave from work so booked Stracey Hotel as we wanted something cheap and cheerful but I am very fussy about cleanliness and many reviews I read on Stracey mentioned how clean it was. This is a brilliant...

Stayed here for one night for my boyfriends birthday. We were contacted on the day to ensure we were still arriving and from the moment we walked in we felt welcome! The tall, blonde girl on reception (I think her name might have been Gemma) was so so friendly and really made our stay! The rooms were very homely, slightly...

I stayed at the Stracey Hotel for two nights. Great location - only five minutes walk from Norwich railway station All the staff were very friendly and helpful in enjoying your time The cooked breakfast was excellent The hotel is a quirky Edwardian design which has steep stairs and no lift The top floor room had a slanting roof and...

I was using this hotel through my work and I am normally in pretty bleak hotels but the Stracey hotel was a great change. Lovely room very clean and an excellent breakfast and extremely friendly staff. I would stay here again when I'm not working. I highly recommend staying here.

We stayed at the Stracey Hotel for two nights. The receptionist "Natalie" was very friendly and approachable. She was very helpful in providing ideas on where we should visit and explaining where the train station was and looking up the train times for us. The room was clean and modern in its décor. Our room was on the top floor...

When we arrived we were met by a charming young trainee receptionist and we thought this is going to be fine. Unfortunately she was not always there and the other staff were completely lacking in common courtesy and friendliness and actually could have taken a lesson from the trainee. This was a shame as the breakfast was good, the room...
