Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Room small but functional. Hotel lobby vibe made coming home cool 😎 location perfectly situated on Central & Piccadilly line’s intersection. Didn’t avail myself to room service or the restaurant so can’t comment.

I booked a gift for a family member. They took my cash, never sent a voucher. All I got was a payment confirmation. Following the sale they updated their website and refused to allow me to use the voucher stating they now have a expiry date. This was on NONE of the documents or receipt they sent. Utterly disgusting company. I escalated internally and despite not being able to show anything had an expiry date they refuse to give me the stay or refund. No interest in their customers and zero interest in legal contracts.

The smell of urine in the lobby WC was overwhelming. Truly overwhelming and very unusual for hotel lobby toilets to be so filthy. The lobby was always full of non guests, mostly hipsters with laptops who seemed to be using the lobby as their workplace. This meant that I only found a spot for a quick coffee once and I was at the hotel from Friday noon and Monday noon. That’s how crowded the lobby always was. The restaurant is very good however and always had tables.

The perfect base for a night in London to celebrate our son’s 21st birthday. Only a short stroll to Soho. Fab rooms; comfortable beds, great bathrooms and peaceful nights sleep. We enjoyed evening drinks in the bar and a leisurely breakfast. A huge thank you to Deborah for looking after us at check-in

Cute hotel. Small rooms. Very very busy lobby/coffee and resturant area all the time. The issue is the staff. I travel for work often snd was shocked at how rude the service waw at the front desk. They were so unhelpful and spoke so rudely to the guest. They were not helping me extend my 7 day stay to an 8 day stay to the point I had to come down with my laptop to show that they had rooms available. Then finally once i became upset and asked for the manager she was all of the sudden able to book me another night and called herself a “magician” and was condenscending by saying it probably means someone else will get upgraded and you’ll stay in the small room. Other than the service the hotel was fine but honestly it was so shocking I will probably stay elsewhere.

We arrived as two couples and asked for adjacent rooms, the clerk at the reception said there would be no problem, we arrived before the entry time and when we arrived to check in we were given rooms on different floors. The most important thing is a healthy second

I stayed for over a week here with work and had a great experience - the rooms are small but comfortable, stylish and worked perfectly for my long stay. Downstairs is great for socializing, working with collages or relaxing at the bar. The staff are fantastic - Elena on the front desk was so friendly and helpful and made me feel very welcome and looked after (thank you!). The team at breakfast and evening drinks were warm and attentive.
