Stayed here a few months ago and was very impressed. The room was large clean/tidy and had everything needed basic mini bar, teas, coffees and even hot chocolate! I like that breakfast was included in the price. we went up to breakfast around 830 and there was plenty left to choose from with teas/coffees/orange juice and toast provided when you...

Chandos House is beautiful, historic hotel, having been,in the 1880's the Austria-Hungarian Embassy. It is situated in a great position for shopping, theatres etc, being very close to Oxford Street. The rooms are huge with very ornate ceilings and beautiful chandeliers and bedrooms have incredibly comfortable beds.Continental breakfast is served at a large elegant highly polished table, seating 26 which is somewhat unusual but nevertheless enjoyable.Staff,from...

On arrival booking in fine not given a lot of information about breakfast etc. We were given room 17 in the basement part. The room was pleasant with a big walk in wet room bathroom. The tv unfortunately refused to work despite changing the remote twice. Which the reception was happy to give but no further help was given ....

I have been to this area of London many times for meetings in the past but this visit was purely for leisure. I wish I had discovered this quiet hotel many years ago. The hotel is just off Harley Street and only a very short walk to Oxford Street,it provides an oasis of tranquility and decorum. Room 6 had everything...

Absolutely loved this historic little hotel. What an absolute gem. Fantastic location and amazing value for money. Paid £110 for a very spacious and comfortable basement room which was light and airy and with a huge very modern bathroom. Would definitely stay here again.

This is an amazing house with beautiful original features. Really nice, friendly staff and a great price for it's location. The room was very warm, there is no air conditioning and, although the window was a picture window as opposed to a functional one (no opening), there was a door to a little courtyard which I had to keep open...

Lovely huge bedroom at a very keen price for central London. Style not entirely to my taste - a bit Scottish country house meets public school, all dark brown furniture and fabrics you could survive a winter in - but I loved the space, it was quiet and dark (working shutters, yay!), and the bright clean bathroom had an excellent...

Really friendly staff both at reception and breakfast. Nice room and breakfast. Handy location. I had a top floor room with windows that opened. Surprisingly quiet. Near BBC and Oxford street. Will definitely come back.

I was surprised to get this popping up on LateRooms in my price range (around £110 per night). Been here before for work events - it's a meeting venue for the Royal Society of Medicine - but never thought of it as an hotel. Massive rooms with fantastic bathroom (with shower only but a great one). I was in the...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
