A beautiful Victorian pub/hotel in the heart of Hammersmith, The Hand and Flower has been extensively refurbished and incorporates eight luxurious guest rooms in an historic, century-old building. A fresh menu and real ales make it a great local, too.

I visited this hotel in February. The good points were the politeness of the staff, the breakfast and the cleanliness of the room. The poor points include the road noise is heavy and even with the curtains closed to some would be intrusive secondly the basin had one of those

Hi there, I appreciate your review, unfortunately we can't do anything about the noise but I'll definitely make sure the rest is being taken care of so thank you for taking the time. Kind regards, Maddie

Service and food were competent but devoid of any personal involvement or excitement - fairly expensive, basic and functional. Staff use minimal eye and voice contact and food slow: OK for lunch once, whilst traveling,

A little hotel that restores your faith in a jaded hospitality industry. Rooms comfortable, clean and well appointed. Staff courteous, knowledgeable and genuinely helpful. Food generous and excellent both in quality and value. Drink extensive. Let’s face it, anyone with half a

I’d recommend the place to anyone in the region. The pub is great and the accomodations in the hotel are good. Great if you go to London for s couple of days. However it’s not in the middle of it. I’d go there again.

There is no "West Street" near the Hand & Flower. Do you mean the one connecting to Shaftsbury Avenue? In the West End? If so, yes, head south-east on West Street, (away from Shaftsbury Avenue), then turn right on to Upper St. Martin's Lane. You've got The Sussex about 30 metres away on the left hand side. If you don't like that, stroll into Covent Garden. This is the West End, there are decent pubs everywhere.

"Some of the rooms are up quite a few flights of stairs- if that’s a problem for you give them a call to check."
"The Peacock room at the top. Some flights up (no lift), but really specious and the bed is great."
"Ask for 1st Floor room"
"If you're staying in the summer, try to avoid the top floor, if you can."
