Detailed Reviews
Stayed here over night . Room on 4th floor. Very small and so hot. We slept with the window open and a chair wedged in the hotel room door so air could get through. Pillows looked nice but were cheap and as soon as you put your head on them they went flat as a pancake. Breakfast was awful. I'd asked travelers from this site if bacon sausage etc was served and some said yes but this is untrue . It was cheap and nasty. Dried out croissants . Wafer thin ham. Cereals . Toast. The fresh orange was a cheap brand as you can see by my photos. £1 a carton. We paid a fair amount to stay here and expected more. We wouldn't return . Only positive was the hotel receptionist man was excellent . It is a 3 minute walk from Paddington station.shops and restaurants all within walking distance .

If you’re looking for a budget hotel this place will be perfect. On arrival the receptionist was amazing, so attentive and his service was exceptional every time we seen him (does the day shift). The rooms are small but functional, and as we didn’t spend much time here it was perfect for a base, close to Hyde Park and the tube stations. One thing I do think even budget hotels can provide is better cleaning in the rooms, on arrival the bathroom/shower was a bit grubby and hoovering looked to be done in only the places that were visible instead of getting under things. Don’t get me wrong the bed was clean and it wasn’t filthy, but could have been much better. For the price you get what you pay for and it was fine for us, but don’t expect luxury. Also a bonus was the car parking, probably the cheapest we could find, but there aren’t many spaces for the hotel outside.

I have stayed at the Days Inn a number of times when in London, & I stayed here 3 times during this visit (twice in April & once in May). The location is a five minute walk from Paddington Train Station, & the hotel has a lift (many hotels in this area do not). The rooms are small, (which is not unusual for this type of hotel in London), but they are clean. A continental breakfast is served on the lower ground floor, & it was very basic. I like this hotel mostly because of its convenience, & I know what I am getting when I book it. I would stay here again, & probably will on my next visit to London.

I travelled with my daughter, two grandsons, son and his partner in mid February. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Paddington Underground and close to a number of cafes and restaurants. It is also a 5 minute walk to Hyde Park. If you have kids take some hazel nuts as the squirrels will feed from your hand. We had 3 rooms, oddly enough each on a different floor. I had a room at the back of the hotel which was very quiet. The other two were at the front and slightly more noisy. Check-in was very quick, 5 minutes and a lift to all floors is available.
The rooms were spotlessly clean and had a tv with all the freeview channels and an ensuite shower and toilet. The room was warm, a bit too warm for my sons partner, but the windows do open.
Although I am not a lover of continental breakfast the hotels was the usual mix of bread, croissant, cereal and hot drinks.
We didnt have a lot of interaction with staff however any we did speak to were very pleasant and helpful. We were able to leave our bags in a cupboard after checking out and collected them prior to going to the airport.
I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for a stay. Paddington station is handy for the district, central and bakerloo lines.

Spotless hotel that provides adequate accommodation that allows you to explore London very easily….we stayed with a family of 5 (5&7&13 yr old kids)
Hotel rooms were spotless (we stayed in 2 twin rooms) and we were amazed at the price.
Hotel is located 5 mins from Paddington station which pretty much connects you to the whole of London
Staff extremely friendly and hotel provided a relaxed atmosphere
Is it the Ritz … no but if you are looking for a spotless amazingly priced hotel then I wouldn’t look any further

We recently stayed in this hotel for one night and will not be returning to a Days Inn hotel again.
We travelled as a family and picked this hotel due to its location, price and on site parking. Check in was quick and easy with friendly receptionists.
Our room was dated, which I expected due to the images on their website, which I did not mind as it was just a place to sleep for one night.
However, I did not expect such low standards in cleanliness. I'm not one to complain and as it was our children's first trip to London, we wanted to get out exploring and I knew if I made a fuss to change rooms we would have to wait a few more hours. But I feel this honest review is necessary for future potential visitors.
Our room was very small for a family of four with two double beds and a single. The bathroom was even smaller fitting only one person at a time.
The smell from the bathroom was stomach turning, to the point I would feel physically sick everytime we opened the bathroom door. We couldn't work out if it was sewerage, dirty drains or whether there was something dead rotting in the pipes. It was honestly revolting and needs to be looked at (room 306) . Again, as we were staying there for one night only, we didn't make a fuss and used public toilets as much as possible and brushed our teeth whilst sat on the beds to avoid having to open the bathroom door.
There were dirty marks on the mugs (which we did not use) The blue carpet had numerous stains and I would not allow the kids to sit on the floor and play. The walls and soft furnishings also had numerous dirty stains and our bedding had dark hairs.
The bath towels were hard, almost crunchy, and were clearly a number of years old and need replacing.
The safety lock on the door had been removed which concerned me.
Breakfast was OK, toast, jams, four different cereals to choose from, nutella, croissants and that's it. No milk alternatives like soya, oat or lactose free. It was served in the basement with no natural light and it was a very warm room.
We have stayed in a number of hotels in London as a couple previously, both luxury and value and never experienced a hotel with such poor cleanliness. This was our first trip as a family and we will not be staying here again. I would advise spending a little bit extra and staying elsewhere.

Days inn provide an excellent service to visitors, especially the tidy ventilated well kept rooms with a mouthwatering morning breaks. I cannot forget how friendly and welcoming the receptionists are, so many reason to always book days inn when visiting london.
The location is priceless, I can’t think of better place to lounge in central London with such great deal and cheaper rate than days inn.

It’s old run down and a bit warn. It got the job done but it gets loud in the hallways. If you’re an American it’s worthwhile to find a nicer hotel for $20 a night. Sure the location is good and near the trains but I found Uber pool was best to use in London.
Staff was nice. I find hotel staff always tend to be nice. I had a decent stay as a solo traveler but If you have a wife or significant other I wouldn’t stay here it’s not nice.

This hotel is situation in a fantastic location and within easy walking distance to many cafes, restaurants, bars and Paddington Station, all just around the corner. The staff were so warm and welcoming and Andre in particular really did go the extra mile and exceeded our expectations, he is a true credit to the establishment. Thank you!
Whilst rooms were basic they had everything required and was great value, with the added bonus of being able to park your car outside. I will definitely stay here again and recommend.

Ideal location from Paddington Station and for traveling around London. Nearby are plenty of eating places and shops. Room compact and clean located at the back of hotel. Quiet with a good night's sleep. Room had an interior door which restricted movement within but as we spent most of the time out it was not too much of a problem. Breakfast was basic but adequate. There is a time limit of 20 minutes in the breakfast room as it is small for the number of guests in the hotel. There is a small bar but they did not have any tonic to go with my gin. Staff are friendly and helpful. If you have limited mobility, ensure you have a room which has direct access from the lift. Our room was between floors with no direct lift access. On the whole it was a good visit.
