The hotel is located in a quiet area, very close to 2 subway lines (Circle and Central lines). The staff is very helpful and friendly. However, the photos on the website did not represent nowhere near the room we had: it was a draughty room, with no wardrobe nor shelves. The bathroom was unheated and had no shelfes nor holders...

Don't book a double room I could touch wall to wall and the bed was tiny! Clean, but that's all that is going for it. They couldn't even get breakfast ready before 830 when we visited. The shared toilet had no sink And as for the wet, shared shower room ...... Cheap in price but not value despite that.

If you can get this at the budget rates its a great offer. It often comes up on Booking sites. Its not luxurious, if you pay more than £70 and complain its your first time in London and you should be more realistic. Friendly staff, budget bread based breakfast, but clean and central. Nearest tube is Bayswater.

Well.. Where do I start? First of all the previews reviews are absolutely over dramatic, childish and extremely picky. You're paying £54 for a room in a perfect location in the centre of London, how can you truly complain?.. The front desk (which I saw three different people during my stay) where attentive, polite, friendly, well presented, down to earth...

My company booked me 3 days in this hotel I decided to take the wife and 2 kids 9 &11, conveniently situated for London and friendly staff that's the only good thing I have to say about the place. What a dump, on arrival, we were told our room was on the 3rd floor I would of expected a lift,...

Initially, I booked this hotel on laterooms.com and didn't realise it was a non-refundable room. So when I later read the poor reviews, I rung up and tried to cancel my booking and get a refund. I spoke to Louise after I had emailed my request to cancel and said that I had seen all these awful reviews and that...

I arrived at this nightmare of a hotel at 9.30pm, as I has travelled after work from Leeds. It's in a pretty good location, but I would rather have stayed in a youth hostel. The photos on the website for this hotel do not accurately depict just how grimy and unhygienic it is. The double en suite room I was...

Booked this hotel for three nights, for my daughter and I. It was half term and a last minute decision. The room was a little bit date and no frills, but it was clean and tidy. The staff on reception and at breakfast were very friendly and helpful. There was a continental breakfast included. If you are looking for luxury...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
