The staff were very accommodating and pleasant. The room was clean and the bed comfortable but a tad small for the price, but, adequate for our needs. The location is wonderful and, convenient to the tube and bus stop.

From the time I made contact with Sabrina (Bonifacio) via email in guest services to the wonderful welcome we received from Harry (Cocking) and his colleagues, the staff of the Apex couldn't have been warmer or more genuinely helpful. Every encounter was like having a friend who worked in the hotel that was making sure you were well looked after...

We enjoyed an excellent stay at Apex City of London Hotel. Our room was gorgeous, clean and quiet. The bath tub was a fun bonus and we loved the rubber ducky. The hotel was situated very close to the Tower Hill Tube station and the heart of the city. Would definitely stay again!

My boyfriend and i have stayed at the Apex a few times now and the reason for this is because we are always greeted with a warm smile, the staff are so friendly and nothing is to much trouble. Our last visit to the Apex City of London Hotel was special for us as we were celebrating my boyfriends birthday,...

Whilst not the cheapest London hotel this luxury offering exudes value for money. Go for the Dinner and Breakfast offer - can't fault it! We treated ourselves to a suite and had a balcony overlooking Tower Bridge. Loved it - we will be back

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
