Positives - Good Location, nice staff, good looking building Negatives - Cold, dirty, small rooms and London prices...Breakfast was horrific the coffee was foul, a greasy fried egg, cold beans, over cooked bacon, deep fried small sausage. The toast was in fact warm bread. The continental breakfast was 'photocopied' cheese, jam and warm bread. My tip is to go for...

Picked this hotel because we had an early flight out of Heathrow and wanted an easy way to get there (i.e., the Heathrow Express). I thought it was a bit expensive for what you get, but given the price of staying anywhere in London, it was worth it. Our room was small but very clean and we had a nice...

Nicholas, the Manager was a fantastic guy who helped us with any query we had. Unfortunately when we arrived in our room - it was quite small, no fridge and no air-con which meant we left our window open 24/7. The room was immaculate and so was the bathroom and staff were amazing. They offer breakfast included and the girls...

The hardest part about getting to the Chrysos Hotel was negotiating the stairs at Paddington Station with 'the luggage'! After a 24 hour flight from Australia, arriving at Hotel Chrysos to a warm friendly greeting was a great welcome. Our 5th floor room (serviced by an elevator) was honest, clean and looked out over the sweet Norfolk Square gardens. Each...

Booked for a week. The location is the only positive. The room was dank and required the window open to let any freshness in, noisy and linen smelled. Pillows old and had to removed one from the bed as it made you want to wretch Reception view is a complete contradiction to the room accommodation Staff were nice but looked...

It was probably still expensive for what the rooms were offering but compared to the very expensive london it was ok. The reception was friendly and nice but the other staff not so much. Great position though!

I had no ecptations of this hotel as it was a last minute decisio to stay over. I read that rooms were small but clean and that was ok for me. The price was amazing considering it its literally 2 mins from paddington station. 24 hour staffing means you can come and go as you please. Staff very accommodating and...

I had booked a single room for 2 nights. It was a tiny room on the 5th floor, but sufficient for my needs. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The bathroom, spacious (almost bigger than the bedroom). I slept well and can't grumble. Breakfast was fine: cereal, fruit juices, tea/ coffee, and a choice of a...

At £85/night for 4 nights, you will struggle to find something that is as good a value for money in central London. My room was on the back of the hotel and was quiet, reasonably-sized for London (with a wardrobe and small desk), and the staff was friendly. I didn't try the breakfast. And here's the "but": I had a...

Booked by agent. Room clean, but dime sized. No AC, it's 85 F today. I will speak to the agent when I get back to the states. If I had known that there was no AC I would NEVER have booked. London in the summer!
