Stayed here during January. Staff was friendly and always helpful, even helping me with the metro system. Neighborhood was safe, even at night, and was dotted with many great cafes and restaurants; I would highly recommend Best Mongol and the Jaffa Bake House.
We wanted to stay closer to zone 1 and finally zeroed in on this hotel (which is in zone 2) mainly for the price. But the hotel matched all our expectations - the location is close to 2 tube stations and bus stands. It was...More

We picked this Hotel as it was an ideal location for the Tube and easily accessible without having to drive into London. The hotel was very clean and staff very friendly. We had a problem with our air con on the first night as it...More

Not very close as others have said. If you're able to walk it would take30-40min. Public Transportation is probably the best option or a taxi or Uber. Do recommend getting the oyster card if you will be in London for several days and you can use this on several forms of public transportation (tube, bus, overground trains).
Also, if you have time try to get outside of central London and via train, you can get to several other great cities within an hour or two for a great day trip.
Wishing you an enjoyable time in the UK.
