It was a pleasent stay, costly in comparison to the space they offer, but good buy inone of the richest city. Good food, quick check in, hasslefree, comfortable, and location are the key attractions

If you are in search of comfy cosy hotel and a good nights sleep ... forget it. Functional but basic is the order of the day. Beds are rock hard, and if were not for the razor thin pile carpet I would have had a better nighst sleep on the floor !! Once I swallowed a couple of painkillers in... More

Professional well trained helpful staff. Rooms typical Ibis with bathroom pod, functional but small. Good bar if expensive compared to local offerings. restaurant a bit chaotic at breakfast at peak times with unreliable replensishments but good selection to suit all. Tube station (Aldgate) next door. Peticoat lane market on Sundays 200m away. Local area safe but a bit downmarket but... More

The hotel is close to the metro station, has a very nice breakfast and the rooms are ok. Internet should be for free. Apart from that, nothing wrong with the hotel. The staff was very nice too.

Love staying in this Hotel. The room was small but fine, the breakfast was really good. I think for the prices in London the value for money of this hotel is very very high.

I was quite impressed with this hotel considering it's 3 stars. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean (which is what I care about when I travel). The Tower of London is a very short tube ride or walk if you prefer. I will stay here again when I visit!

Stayed at the hotel for two nights when my wife, and I were in London for the Paul McCartney concert in Hyde Park. The hotel would be best described as functional rather than oppulent. Though the room was clean, and comfortable. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis for about £70.00 per night for both of us which we... More

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
