Shared a room with three friends, the room was a bit small, but comfortable, toilets and showers were shared with others on the same floor, but clean. The hostel in itself is nice, and very well located (5mins from King's Cross) but I think the prices are a bit high. Also, I would not recommend the breakfast.

Generator is a great hostel that doesn't seem to be limited to backpackers - there were all kinds of people there. Atmosphere is fun and friendly. The range of food available at the cafe is not extensive, but it covers all the bases and the coffee is good. The rooms were clean and serviceable, and the regular doors down the...

We stayed in a private room with ensuite and was worth money! The food was good but music plays until 2 so I would ask for a higher room if you are a light sleeper. Good location close to Russell Square and Kings Cross

I've stayed here a few times over the past 12 months and it's the best hostel in London. Sometimes it can be a bit pricier than other hostels in London, however you get what you pay for!! This hostel is clean, spacious and the people are very social. I've made some great friends within the walls of this hostel. When...

It was perfect because there are many subways stations around, including Saint Pancras/KingsCross where EuroStar departs/arrives! The rooms are small and it is the main problem... Also the ladies restrooms are always with problem (shower or toilet). The breakfast is great and has a good price. I really enjoyed my stay there!

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
