Firstly, a lot of reviewers seem to forget this is London, the worst city in the world for hotels so I am grading this in light of that and according to its budget. Don't be put off by the scaffolding! If you want somewhere central that is clean, warm, quiet and secure, this is definitely your place. (Again this isn't...

The outside if the Elysee looks nice but inside it smells damp, looks muffy and cramp. The hallways look more like emergency exits and isn't inviting. Rooms were also small but were clean and (mine) had windows. Does this place need a redecoration? Well ... why bother it is just about ok but not anything more than that.

Stayed here for 1 night on 15th Dec as wanted hotel near to Hyde Park for Winter Wonderland. 5 minute walk from Lancaster Gate station. Staff friendly and helpful. Room small but had everything that you needed. Bed comfy, lovely fluffy towels. Great breakfast in the morning. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay wasn't great, the staff were really friendly and helpful, I can't fault them at all! its a great location, straight off the tube, easy to find and right next to Hyde Park. It was also nice and clean. However we had the worst night sleep and for the price we paid it wasn't up to standards! We were...

Only a short walk from Lancaster Gate station and easy to find. Fairly quiet would stay again. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Just a short walk and you are in Hyde Park. Breakfast was good plenty of choice.

Just stayed there and the room was really tiny and since the bathroom has no heat and are all tiled it was freezing, like sitting on an icecube the toilet was. Very clean rooms and nice service. The hotel in general are a bit worn down but for the price you pay it is ok. And good wi-fi that is...

The hotel is located very near the Lancaster Gate underground station, and only a block from beautiful Kensington Gardens. But it's far enough away from the center of London so that the neighborhood is not inundated with tourists. Special treat -- very large, fluffy bath towels. Buffet breakfast is ample -- eggs, ham, beans, mushrooms, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cheese, cereal,...

Well situated hotel just off Bayswater Road and very close to Lancaster Gate metro station. My wife and I enjoy to walk and this is an ideal location to explore Hyde Park, Mayfair, Oxford Street etc. My only criticism was our double room was quite small. However, the bedding, bathroom and room in general were spotless. Renovations were taking place...

We stayed here for 2 nights and chose this hotel specifically as you did not have to pay until you got there. As it wasn't payday until just before we went, this was a good option for us as we were still able to book other things to do before we arrived. However, once I'd booked the hotel, £135 was...

The mention of friendly staff and good location is welcomed. The Elysee is marketed as a good 3 star hotel in the very heart of London. The weekend in question was a particularly busy one...
