A romantic night in London was somewhat marred by a lack of hot water in the morning for our showers and an uncomfortable bed. The bed was huge but the mattress was lumpy and not deep enough to cover the fact that the bed base was hard and very creaky. Apparently the boiler had broken down in the morning, but...

Dear FIona K, Thank you for your note, and hope you did enjoy your stay with us despite the hot water issue. The boiler has indeed broken down however we were able to fix this pretty quickly. The wait was then for the water to come back up to temperature, so apologies if this affected your stay. All the best,

Visited last weekend as part of a virgin experience. Sometimes at these places you feel a little embarrassed by the voucher but here a number of people seemed to have them. It's in a area just opposite the lobby with lots of character. The sandwiches were lovely and plenty of cakes but I don't really have a sweet tooth. I...

Dear KD7152, Thank you for sharing your experience with us and happy to hear that you enjoyed your afternoon tea with us. Our location does indeed lean itself for a spot of shopping with Carnaby street, Regent Street and Oxford Street all close by. SO ideal to pop in before, after or during your shopping spree. All the best

We were there for afternoon tea which was such an experience!! The setting was amazing and I loved the location. It is right next to Liberty of London down a quaint little street. The cafe where tea was served was not large but small and cosy. There was sufficient food for both of us and a lovely glass of bubby!

The location of the hotel is really good both for business and tourists. Only a few hundred meters from Oxford Circus, you can run right onto Oxford Street for shopping, or go into Soho for food and drinks. Rooms feels a little bit old and tired, but very clean and spacey. The bar in the basement is not recommended :)

Dear JorgenBLY, Pleased to hear that you like our location . Could you elaborate about what you mean in regards to the bar in the basement? As we do only have a bar on the ground floor and roof top. Thanks

This is my second visit to the Court House hotel. We stop here when we are going to Ronnie Scotts as it is so convenient for the whole of Soho and being out and about in the area. The rooms are always very clean and the bed is very comfortable. To be honest we don't spend that much time in...

Dear Juminchelmsford, Thanks you for your continuous support of the Courthouse Soho and as you mentioned we are a great base for everything Soho has to offer. Our Bar still has the original holding cells in them and the bar team are always happy to make a cocktail or2 to your liking. Hope to see you back again soon

This hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to a lot of the popular districts (often faster than taxi's at busy times) The hotel is modern and clean, staff were very professional. Only negative was that the room was very crowded full of furniture. Also the shower seemed to explode out everywhere and soak the whole bathroom which...

Dear Jasmine F, Thank you for staying at the Courthouse hotel during your recent visit to London. Good to hear you enjoyed your stay and the location and sorry to hear that you had difficulties with the shower and that the breakfast was not warm enough. Should this happen in the future then do let one of the team know...

Dear Mr Antoine K, Sorry to hear that you had so many issues during your stay. We have checked the rooms next to the "sky bar" and have found that all electricity sockets are working as they should. The Housekeeping team works between 8am and 4pm and we guarantee that rooms get cleaned before 5pm, if you would have liked...

This is a 5 star hotel that fails on so many counts, I can’t understand how it keeps its stars On arrival at the hotel, it was impossible to park outside. There was no reserved “drop off” space for arriving guests to unload luggage and no doorman to provide assistance. I had to risk double parking and go into the...

Dear Lewis S, Thank you for your comments. Being so central in London has it advantages and disadvantages, one of the disadvantages is indeed that there is no parking outside. There is a carpark 2 streets down which we offer to our guests. Apologies if there was no doorman there to assist you, we do have a doorman on duty...

Fantastic location, walking distance to Regent Street, Carnaby Street and Oxford Street, also walking distance to West end. Hotel was very clean, the room lovely and nice bathroom. Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
