Hotel was beautiful with an amazing view of the shard. Hotel staff were friendly and it was so close to a Southwark tube station. Very nice location, little bit noisy because of train lines close by. But other than that it was amazing.

We stayed for 2 nights. The room was comfortable and had everything needed - coffe & tea , a mini fridge with bottled water, hairdryer, toiletries (however for a double room with 2 occupants only one of each!) There were smart devices for music etc, but the TV was a little

My wife and I walked out and back to the hotel both evenings during our stay and we didn’t experience any issues, it is quite a popular area and as such there are lots of people around.

Take a walk to the area around Borough Market, plenty of traditional pubs there. There is a medieval pub called the George Inn just off Borough High Street, well worth a visit - The George Inn Yard, 77 Borough High St, London SE1 1NH There is a small supermarket called Tesco Express close to the hotel - 3-11 The Cut, London SE1 8JZ
