We stayed in this hotel due to its location near Buckingham Palace. We had to get there by 10.00. We managed it with ease. The property is tastefully finished to a high standard. Five of us were allocated two rooms. Spectacular they were too. From open fires to four poster beds all made the stay enjoyable. Breakfast was a little...

Beautifully decorated hotel in a great location, very close to Gloucester Road tube station. The rooms were all tastefully decorated though my family had some problems with lights and heating not working but we were then moved rooms and/or upgraded. The hotel currently does not serve any alcohol (we were told they have applied for a license) and when asked...

The room was very near perfection, just a little "could be better" to the water taps annoying the access to the bath tub and the poor floor drainage during shower. The location is extremely convenient, with the Tube station and the main musea within a five minute walk! Five stars to the reception staff. Just a little suggestion: when in...

We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights and were very happy throughout our stay there. The staff was always friendly, warm and helpful. They even offered a complimentary single bed (with no extra charges) for our son. Highly recommended. Also halal food served.

I stayed several times in Adria hotel and the service was always excellent. So from the outside is a very nice building. when you get in to the lobby you will be surprised from the warmth welcome and atmosphere. it is not a typical lobby. it is more of a big living room with various rooms with chairs and tables....

If only the hot water in the bidet wasn't boiling. The Wimbledon room is marvelous and the hotel is very very quiet. The location is very convenient and within a fifteen minute walk you can reach Knightsbridge.

The majority of hotels in London have tiny rooms unless you are prepared to spend a large amount. This one falls somewhere between the two categories. Standard rooms are tiny and if you do not have an understanding of square footage or area in square metres, do not be surprised when you arrive. Standard rooms are small. Each room has...

Booked a petite room and it was obviously tiny, but clean and comfy. Shower leaked all over the floor but great amenities. Breakfast was cold continental..you could walk a bit and get something better.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
