A friendly reception, a lovely lunch at the hotel's restaurant The Potting Shed, a room with a view over the Dorset square and a comfortable queen size bed with a good selection of feather pillows. A beautiful bathroom with rain shower, high quality amenities and a playful range of snacks and drinks in the mini bar. A quiet and welcoming...

I just love this place. Have stayed 3 times now, just for one night, and it feels like the second home I wish I had! Incredibly beautiful and quirky decor with fabulous upholstery and textiles, wonderfully comfy beds and the best hotel pillows I have ever had. Some rooms are small, as other reviews point out, but all are perfectly...

We were lucky enough to visit the hotel as a group of 10 for a birthday celebration. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who were kind enough to upgrade the birthday girl to one of their premier suites! The decor and rooms are gorgeous, if a little small / bijou, but very well decorated and filled with record...

Stayed for a weekend break, lovely little hotel, nice area, immaculate rooms (on the small side and I wished I had paid for a slightly larger one given the small guest sitting room) and very nice, helpful staff. Our breakfast was included in our room rate and was very well cooked and generous. We would definitely stay here again.

First and foremost this will appeal to cricket fans. Dorset square is where the first pitch for the Marylebone Cricket Club was laid out. And essentially is the birthplace of the game. So bats and other paraphenalia adorn the walls. The lounge is very cosy. The restaurant good for breakfast. (Didn't try other meal times). Rooms are well designed, quiet...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
