The Premier Inn London Beckton hotel garners praise for its spotless facilities and cleanliness, with many guests enjoying the comfortable beds and extras like tea and coffee. Its location near the DLR is appreciated for ease of access to central London, though some face accessibility issues.
The staff's friendliness contributes to a welcoming environment, despite occasional slow service. While opinions on room quality and the overall atmosphere are mixed, with noise and maintenance issues mentioned, the hotel is seen by some as offering a satisfactory balance between cost and comfort.

Detailed Reviews

A typical Premier Inn. It is close to Beckton DLR and the Beckton bus station. A small shopping mall is also across the road. Very small rooms and slow free Internet to push their paid premium WiFi (£5 a day). Room and bathroom were clean. In the Premier Inn you have to request a service of your room. Since I was only staying a couple of days, I never requested a cleaning of my room. Premier Inn also doesn't offer toilet paper but has very thin tissues in the bathroom where your fingers will go straight through when cleaning your bottom, so I bought real toilet paper at the ASDA across the road. Another thing is that there windows (I was in am adjacent building in room 705) don't open. Although they have an airflow or airconditioning system, this leaves an unpleasant smell in the rooms after sleeping, because rooms can not be aired properly. And finally, putting up one or two shelves in the rooms would be nice, so guests don't have to live out of their bag. There is hanging space only. But overall, for £85 a night not bad. But do avoid the restaurant at the other side of the parking. They have hardly any staff behind the bar resulting in waiting 20 to 25 minutes for service, the food is not properly heated and is extremely expensive for what is on offer. Your are better off at the McDonald's across the road.

Room Tip: Avoid the rooms facing the main road and ask for a room in the buildings across the parking lot.

I chose this hotel to stay at while at a 3 day conference at the London ExCel.
The location was far enough away to avoid over inflated pricing but easily accessible on the DLR.
the hotel was usual Premier standard and is probably due for a refurb fairly soon. Reception team were friendly.
The adjoining Brewers Fayre was very basic. The staff at breakfast were pleasant and the breakfast was usual Premier standard. The evening meal choice was poor and the bar staff were rude and unhelpful.

Bed Bugs!!!
I recently stayed at Premier Inn, and it was quite disappointing.
On our first night in room 215, we encountered bed bugs, my sister and daughter were full of bed bugs bite which was incredibly concerning. The staff promptly moved us to room 210, but this room had no air conditioning because it needed to be activated from their side. Additionally, there was no phone in the room, forcing us to walk to the front desk for any requests, which was inconvenient given the distance between buildings.
The family room setup was also a letdown. The two beds were essentially a split sofa bed, making it cramped and difficult to get up without disturbing everyone.
Breakfast was underwhelming and didn't meet our expectations either.
Positives: staff were wonderful, close to DLR tube and grocery/McDonald's/pharmacy

Had a good weekend, the staff are always on hand to help out for extra pillows, two staff members made the weekend memorable for my niece with the free ice creams and Lolly's so thank you Neringa and Alexandra for making it special for her and her friend

From the moment we arrived we felt more than welcome here. We arrived at 8am, knowing early check in wasn't until 11am but we had to collect my marathon bib number from 830. We popped in however to request a room with a bath for post run.
The receptionists were extremely smiley and welcoming and said they would get the first room with a bath available cleaned ready for us at 11am.
Parking at this hotel is charged, but a great rate in my opinion.
Commuting too and from anywhere in london is so easy from here as the DLR station is literally next door (and you don't hear it in the rooms). When we returned, we spoke to another receptionist but the message was passed on so communication works here. Again, extremely smiley and welcoming and gave us a bar of chocolate as a thank you for staying. Never had that before.
We returned that evening to yet another receptionist who again made us feel welcomed, commenting on my fiancees hair and general chit chat about the day. so lovely.
The morning i left for the marathon the two original receptionists wished me well and demanded to see my medal the following morning. I'm sorry i didn't see you guys as i left.
The water was extremely hot, and bath big which was extremely welcome. Bedroom was massive, and extremely clean. spotless.
The restaurant asked about any allergies as we asked about food, which when we do have a coeliac in our party is extremely welcoming for us. Rarely do you get this unless you're going to a specific type of restaurant. So we loved that!
This hotel is an absolute hidden gem, just hiding off the north circular making it really easy to get to and really easy to get to the city via the DLR. We will absolutely use this place again any time we need to get to london.
The only gripe we have with the hotel at all, which would bring the marking from 10/10 down to a 9. Toilet paper. The room had one of those dispensers which only gives one sheet at a time. Not rolls. Whilst not life changing, just slightly annoying. But theres an asda over the road, whilst there getting some lunch we just grabbed a packet of rolls for ourselves. Just more a preference for us.

Good quality Premier Inn. We stayed in the newest block which overlooks the Beckton DLR station, so this may have some bearing on our experience. Clean and modern facilities. Large room. Large car park charged at £12 for 24hrs. Minimal noise can be heard to room from station. DLR was closed for weekend so we had to get rail replacement to go to the city, however normally DLR station literally next door so perfect for link into city. Breakfast was normal Premier Inn standard. If you’re going to London on a budget, can’t go wrong here.

The bedroom amazed me with the price I've spent (£107) for 1 night (double bedroom) The bed was queen/king size with the mattress having a firm texture. There were extra pillows provided in the room as well. The lights were beautiful with string lights over the bed frame. Bathroom was clean and large as well. Kettle was provided, packets of tea and coffee as well as sugar. There was a vanity and a hairdryer. To add on top of everything, an AC and TV topped up my relaxation.
For the price paid, I will come back again and again.

We arrived at this hotel late on a Friday night for a 2 night stay, literally had time to pay for parking (£14.00 per 24h), check-in & grab some food, but our initial impression was not good!
Saturday & Sunday we were at For The Love of Fantasy at the Excel, so it was a hectic weekend, wish we'd had time to complain about this hotel sooner than at check-out, because it was so poor.
Plus the hotel was showing as full, so even if we had complained sooner than check-out we didn't think they'd be able to move us, apparently that wasn't sufficient for the 'Good Night's Sleep Guarantee'.
The corridors of the block we were staying in were shabby, lots of scruffs & marks on the walls, frayed carpets etc. & obviously in need of maintenance/redecoration, unfortunately when we entered our room our opinion deteriorated further.... hole in the carpet under one of the bed wheels, one of the mirror lights not working, peeling paint in the bathroom & bedroom, rusty bath taps & odd stains in the bath, missing safety chain on the door, the list could go on.
The exterior of the hotel was no better, when we returned to collect our car on the Sunday there was an abandoned shopping trolley in the car park, rubbish etc. Plus tatty banners & obvious signs the exterior of the buildings needed attention as well.
The pub in the grounds where we ate Friday night (no choice due to long journey) & had breakfast was unfortunately to the same standard, sticky, dirty tables, flies around the breakfast buffet etc.
I would most definitely not recommend this hotel, the only thing going for it was the proximity was being next door to a train station with direct link to the Excel centre.

We have stayed at Premier Inn Beckton several times this year to visit a close relative who lived nearby. Our most recent trip was to attend his funeral. On each occasion we have enjoyed a warm and friendly welcome from the reception staff and excellent service from all the hotel staff. The rooms and beds have been very comfortable and peaceful. Air con provides a very good environment for sleeping in warm weather.
There is an excellent choice at breakfast and the times allow plenty of time to enjoy a leisurely meal. We also enjoyed evening meals, sometimes with our relatives, which were always well cooked and good value for money. We would choose to stay again when next in the area.

Paid £143.50 a night for a sofa bed and double bed. Towels was not replaced automatically, nor toilet paper. No decent free Wi-Fi with the price you had to pay £5 for the ultimate wifi package for 24hrs and that was terrible. The bathroom had paint come off the walls and the mirror was rusty on the sides. Food was expensive at the pub next door. The value for money was terrible. Usually in fine with somethings like this as I just wanted a room and bathroom so me and my friend can go to comic con. But for £143.50 a night. There is a thing called Value for money!!! This is definitely not it and I expected a lot more. I asked about the price increase when I checked in and they said it was to do with Comic con for the weekend. So basically they exploited the people going to the event as they know people will buy it and provide less service. Disgusting cooperate greed.
