Stayed overnight as part of a visit with friends over from the USA. The hotel was clean and well appointed. The staff delightful. The breakfast excellent. We had a much better expereince than our firends who were in the Marriott next door - which was far more expensive! 2 minute walk to shops, bars and the tube station.

It was a very pleasant stay. It was the idea location for us when we were visiting the area nearby. Earls court tube station is only a few minutes walk away,so easy to go anywhere. The reception desk was very helpful, the gentleman helped at the self checking kiosk and introduced the facilities and good night sleep guarantee. The bed...

I'm normally a big fan of Premier Inns. The room itself was as I expected, clean, well maintained and comfy bed. The problem was the room was on the 1st floor overlooking a tube line, so there was a constant back ground tube noise. Because of this I wouldn't stay again. The wifi was also unreliable, it wasn't working at...

We stayed for one night in a family, 2 adults and 2 children ages 8 and 4. The room was huge and spotlessly clean. Very quiet and the beds were huge and so comfortable! The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them, very knowledgeable about London attractions. The breakfast choice was brilliant, even my very...

Finding a good deal in a hotel in London is always very hard. Prices are high even in terrible structures. But this time, following the good reviews, we decided to give a try to this hotel. No complaint at all. The staff is very kind, smiling and helpful. Rooms have a good size (they are huge if compared with some...

Myself & my wife recently visited this hotel as we were going to The Royal Albert Hall for the proms which was nearby. From check in to check out we were looked after and nothing was too much trouble. We didn't have our evening meals at the hotel due to prior arrangements but, we did, however, use the bar for...

The location of this hotel is excellent. It's just off the beaten track so it's quiet for sleeping, but only a street ways from the hustle and bustle of Earl's Court Road. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, including some well know cheaper places such as McDonald's, KFC and Gourmet Burger; there's even a Greggs café. For those with more...

My husband vists London for businness once a month and I joined him for a vacation. This hotel was originally selected mostly because of the price. The room is simple though quiet large and contains a comfortable desk and a sofa. It is very clean but basic. There are no small bottles of body lotion, shower cups or anything like...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
