Situated less than a five minute walk from both Marylbone and Baker street tube stations makes the Wyndham hotel an ideal base in London. Breakfast was amazing for Europe- eat all you can including cereals, toast, , fruit and an eggs sausages and beans The room is spotless and comes with Plasma TV, fridge , kettle and tea, coffee and...

Hi all, I understand that the hotel is going to be closed as a planning application was submitted for "a change of use" to residential. I am very fond of the Wyndham Hotel, which is located in the heart of Marylebone, moments away central London tourist attractions. This hotel is unique, in that you rarely find such a pleasant typically...

We stayed at a number of hotels in Europe and this was the worst one - although at 99 pounds per night in London, I guess this is what you get. It was fine for one night but I wouldn't choose it for an extended visit. The hotel is conveniently located - a five minute walk from several different subway...

The staff is really lovely. The room was small indeed, but I knew it when booking. The bed was so comfortable that I slept like a baby, not too much noise either, really calm. Although the toilets are shared, they were super clean and I didn't feel uncomfortable using them. You should try their english breakfast too! The only thing...

This little gem is a real find that is worth keeping tabs on. Excellent staff, good breakfast and set in quiet street on minutes away from two tube stations, it is flexible and well priced with two good quality pubs only a minute or so away. While there is no lift and toilets are in the corridors, all rooms have basins...

I thought I had booked an ensuite room. It turned out to be a tiny bedroom with a closet-like shower and a toilet in the corridor that I had to share with others. Not only was the room tiny, it was also extremely warm (and I was only staying here in may). Opening the window however meant that it was...

I just came back from London and I was so nicely surprised by this hotel! We just stayed there 1 night and left early so we didn't have breakfast. The recepionist was sooooo nice and helpful, we got there really late and had some problems with a credit card, but she patiently waited and then showed us round. The room...

I stayed here in January for 1 night. It cost me £60 for the night, including breakfast (although i left too early to have breakfast so cannot comment on it). The hotel is very close to Marleybone station which is where i needed to be the following morning so was perfect in this respect. I arrived quite late and the...

This is a good find. Whilst small with the toilet outside the room which they tell you on the phone to check you are ok with that, the Hotel has thought through what it is offering with great care. It is warm, clean and Breakfast is very nice. Lovely Coffee! The cotton sheets appealed to me and I slept well...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
