We heard about Space Apart through word of mouth and chose it over other more expensive options available. We were very glad we did as it was an excellent choice and great value for money. The kitchenette was perfect for our needs, and the room had everything we needed to make our few days stay extremely comfortable and relaxing. Even...

We booked this accomodation on the strength of review in trip advisor and it lived up to the best of them. The apartments are stylish and well appointed just a short walk to both the Circle/District line and Central Underground line services. These give guests easy access to most London sites and even better, just a walk across Kensington Gardens...

We stayed at London for 5 nights. This hotel was very clean and well equipped. The room was really nice and the location is wonderful, close to all the best places. But, above all, our hosts, Marc & Philip, were the best. They helped us and gave good advices whenever was needed. We highly recommend!

We visited this hotel in June of 2011, and loved it. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the room was fabulous. The beds were really comfortable, we had wireless internet in our room, and the hotel has a collection of dvds you can rent. Our room had a full kitchen and a washer/dryer. The location is great for...

If you're traveling through London frequently, it's hard to find a more comfortable hotel, especially if you like a modernist aesthetic. The rooms vary in size and are well spaced and soundproofed -- sometimes it's hard to tell there's anyone else in the hotel. Quite apart from the kitchenette many reviewers mention, it's good value. Especially in London. There's a...

I very much liked the fact that each room has a kitchenette. It had a fridge, microwave, toaster and electric kettle. However, even though it was stocked with utensils, pots, pans, and plates, there were no ingredients to cook with such as oil, salt, pepper, and butter. You can't really 'cook' unless you buy every single ingredient. You can heat...

We stayed here for a week in one of the studio apartments. It was small but this is London, where accommodation is very pricey, and so we felt it was good value. The kitchenette is small but well equipped and all of the utensils are good quality, clean and quite new. We cooked almost all of our meals here. Definitely...

I've stayed at many hotels in this area on business over the years and I wouldn't go back to many of them. I would go back to Space - I was in a standard studio - room 304 on the third floor. It was small but larger than quite a few I've stayed in and London hotel rooms are not...

Firstly i was willing to pay for a half day rental and was promised a room subject to availability at 82 pounds. David at the front desk promised us a room as soon as possible. After b'fast,we got...

We stayed here for 1 night in January, and althought the room was quite small it was more than adequate for our needs. The only thing we thought was missing was a kitchen 'starter pack' of things like salt, pepper and oil and some tea or coffee (which we have found provided in other apartments we've stayed in). But on...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
