I really didn't know this part of London until we stayed here. Just up the road from Tate Britain, and a short walk from Westminster. Modern with rooms that are small but have everything one needs. One bizarre feature which I have never seen before. Roma cost about £260 a night. They make you this great offer. If you don't... More

Enjoyed our stay at the Double Tree with a cookie on entrance! Really good location close to the underground and parliament. Only slight disappointment was no 24 hour room service, it all ends at 23:30 but the concierge was good at recommending a delivery pizza!

Just for the experience, we took the Heathrow Express, to the tube and then called Uber once we reached the Westminster tube stop. From there, it was only a ten minute ride away to the hotel. Once we arrived, we noticed that the lobby was well appointed. There wasn't much of a line and we were able to check-in right... More

Does everything you can expect of a big chain hotel in London. Decent accommodation close to the centre at reasonable rates. Recommended. Parking spaces in the car park are very tight for all but the smallest cars.

The location is excellent. The breakfast included in the executive room was really basic, nothing fancy. In addition, there were spots on the curtain and in the bathroom ceiling. Otherwise the hotel was great.

Just returned from a three night stay at this hotel. I was able to check us in online, the night before we were due to arrive and select the room we wanted. I was not to bothered about choosing a room, so selected the room that was automatically selected for us. However, as we arrived approx 20 minutes before the... More

The hotel may not be at the centre of the London's main attractions but it is about 15-20 min walk to Westminster Abbey and the Parliament. There is a tube station (Pimlico) about 10-15 min walk. The room is spacious and it is equipped with an Apple TV. The breakfast is wonderful and full of options.

We paid for an executive room thinking that we'd enjoy the perks of the executive lounge that we'd experienced at other hotels. Not so. Talk about skimping! The executive lounge only served snacks, which consisted of some dried up finger sandwiches filled with sardine paste, goats cheese and tomato; breaded cauliflower and mini vegetable spring rolls and some cheap bottled... Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
