We just got back from a week in England where we spent 3 nights in room 2 and 2 nights in room 11 - drove to Wales in between. My first impression was Luke warm as the sofas in the main room are all torn up and dingy. But I decided to wait until we got our room to make...

We recently stayed in the Wizard Chambers and it was everything we had hoped for. Since the room was not available for our entire stay, we were up on the 5th floor for several nights. The staff is very kind and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic. I did not give it 5 stars because it was noisy--both from adjoining rooms...

I understand that the Georgian House Hotel (a bed and breakfast) has a Harry Potter themed room and certainly a malevolent Voldemort had a hand in greedily claiming a dingy broom cupboard as our ‘bedroom’. If you are the size of Dobby the House Elf and double jointed then Room One is the room for you. Tiny is not an...

This is my third stay (3 years in a row!) at the Georgian House Hotel and I booked a Belgravia Boutique room like how I did for my previous two stays. We were lucky to get the biggest room in the hotel with plenty of space for luggage. We got robes and slippers as well which was a great touch....

We thought we were treating ourselves to a bit of luxury. OK, it is priced at the lower end of the bracket for a 5 star in central London but we did expect an establishment that would at least benchmark against a 4 star. It is in fact closer to a 3 star. Several aspects put it below your average...

My son and I stayed in the Wizard chambers for two nights. What an amazing stay! The staff were so helpful and friendly and assisted us with everything we needed. The room was beautifully decorated and we felt as though we were transported to a magical place. We enjoyed the wizard breakfast so much, really special. Thank you to everyone...

I arrived on Friday 4th November at the hotel to be greeted by very friendly staff who offered me samples of carrot cake and elderflower lemonade which I thought was a very nice touch. Throughout our stay, the staff were excellent - nothing was too much trouble!!!! Location is ideal for Sloane Square, Peter Jones and the Kings Road. The...

I booked this as the website said hotel, but it is a B&B, was shoved in a room not even in the main building so battle the elements to go to breakfast, room was awful and as small as a shoe box, complained to the receptionist who was not interested and her attitude was the worst I had encountered, having...

This hotel is not for people who have trouble walking up stairs. The amount I paid for the room was exorbitant especially since it was very small, more like a walk-in closet with a tiny bathroom. The pictures of the room on the website are deceiving and seem larger than they are. Fortunately, the men at the front desk were...

The hotel was very nice with welcoming staff. The room was clean and tidy. This is a great location for getting the train or tube 5 minutes walk from Victoria Station. Also great if you want to walk to see some of the attractions. Excellent choices for breakfast. We will definitely be going back to stay.

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
