We chose Hotel Meridiana because of its convenient location..it really is very close to St Pancras/Kings Cross! We also chose it because London is very expensive and Meridiana is reasonably priced. We got one of the rooms with an ensuite bathroom. Yes, the room and bathroom (cubicle shower) is definitely small. but it was clean and the bed was comfortable,...

I will start by saying that the hotel is clean and fine to come home to after a day of travel. It's very convenient to the tube at King's Cross St Pancras, pubs, and anything one could need. However, I very stupidly booked a room that didn't have a bathroom en suite. This was not their fault, but it was...

The room was tiny but the everything in it was new and clean. Close to Kingscross and Euston and a short train ride to most of the central London sites. You wont want to spend a lot of time in the hotel but its fine for getting your head down at the end of a long day. They will keep...

What I like about this hotel: - Worth the value especially for the location and private bathroom - very friendly and helpful staff However, - room is very tiny. Given the good location and price to pay, it is a good deal. - room needs better sound proof. You can hear people talking, opening and closing their room door. Anyway,...

Outstanding staff that were so helpful, friendly, and accommodating. We had the misfortune of being on the third floor and there is no elevator in the hotel so that meant a difficult climb up a winding staircase every time we needed to go to our room and a difficult first journey lugging our suitcases up to our rooms the first...

We stayed in an en-suite double room for four nights and found it to be a good value. Positives: 1) Convenient to public transit - only one block to the tube and train station. 2) Easy walk to the British Museum, a key sight on our itinerary. We went there three times! 3) Nice to have our own bathroom, which...

The location of this hotel is great, right next to the King's Cross station that is on the Piccadilly line to Heathrow and to the center of the city. The rooms are clean but so small, really there was almost no place for our luggage, we had to skip over it during our stay. The beds are tiny as well,...

I've stayed in many of the small hotels around King's Cross (the station where my train to London arrives). It's been a while since I was at the Meridiana. It's still a budget hotel, and excellent value for money. This time around, I was in a twin room with shared bathroom, and it seemed more spacious per person than the...

5 mins walk from Kings Cross, kept our bags for us. Bedrooms small but clean, shower nice, tea and coffee facilities. Paid extra for breakfast, only continental but nice, plenty to choose from, coffee machine excellent and staff around to help and kept refilling. The breakfast room is lovely and bright and clean even though it was in the basement.

This is a budget hotel. Let me repeat it's budget. This means shared bathrooms and small rooms however the staff are friendly and the location can't be beaten. My room was on the third floor but I was able to store my bags(except for a small one) so I didn't have to carry it upstairs. Yes there is no lift....

Apart from budget rooms ( shared bathroom) at a fairly low price, our hotel offers rooms with private showers in the room. It depends on what room you book - you have a choice. Abou the beds, I'm surprised because all the mattresses have been changed a few months ago and are of superior quality. I am glad that overall...
