Thanks to the Carlton staff for allowing us to book a room at very short nitice. It was 1am in the morning and we were in need of a safe place to get 4hours kip before our train at 6.15am. The station area wasn't a very safe place at those small hours. We called them and they said we could...

Sometimes change isn't good. We were travelling to Paris by Eurostar and at the last minute decided to travel down the night before. We are normally far better organised and book one of the cheaper chains. With limited availability we plumped for this hotel just opposite St Pancreas station. Locale wise it could not be better, but other than that...

The hotel had changed from my last visit, stayed on the 4th floor (small room) but clean and tidy. The breakfast had completed changed from full English to Continental which was very slow and not enough food plus cups and glasses for guests. A little disappointed so hope they will improve in near future.

Arrived at 2:30am after a long day of travel to find a room with windows open and towels on the floor of the tiny bathroom, not to mention the smell of something very foul in the bathroom. When I went down to ask the night manager for fresh towels he insisted he come up to see. By the time I...

We came to London for two days and needed a room for two just to sleep and have a proper rest. The place of the hotel is amazing, a lot of interesting places, museums are really near. Place of the hotel is the biggest necessity. Our room was so tiny.. Interior, furniture and everything was really cheap and basic. Bathroom...

The hotel looks good from the outside - but inside it is terrible. Filthy bathroom, cigarette burns on furniture, smelly. Have a look at the photo's from a previous reviewer as they are exactly what it was like. Breakfast was inedible. We had booked for 2 nights as it was a great location but cancelled after the first night. Do...

Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
