I chose this place because of the location. It is walking distance to Marble Arch tube station and Marylebone train station. The apartment we stayed is a 3-bedroom apartment and 2 bathrooms, that have 6 beds (4 single beds and 1 double decker bed). The apartment was clean but there is one kind of smell in the kitchen. They provide...

Stayed there in January. Management failed to inform us that they had moved office. Had to find their new place ourselves (1 mile off in pouring rain). Flat not ready on arrival. Had to change flat during our stay (which meant the loss of half a day). Building fairly run down, same holds for the flats. Furniture broken, mould in...

The rang the reception bell for about 10 minutes before he came down and opened the door. The lifts can only operate with 4 grown men, any more and it will overload. The rooms, most of the lights were fused, the kitchen is dirty, covered with a layer of cooking oil. The wooden floors are cracked. The beds and sofas...

Just a few snags with my stay here keeps me from a 5 star review. Let's start with the positives, great location in London. Easy walk to local attractions. Many nearby pubs serving cold pints. A stones throw from Al-Mustafa's and the Beirut Express to boot. The accommodations are a bit sparse but the kitchen is phenomenal. There is a...

I lived in London for a few months during the summer of 2010 and had a really good experience staying at the Landward. First, the location is beyond ideal. It's located right off Edgware Road, which is one of the busiest streets in London. There are tons of restaurants and stores nearby. However, even though it's located off a very...

I traveled abroad Jan-May 2010 and stayed here the entire time. This is a really great location. It is located in the Middle Eastern area of London off of Edgware Road. When I stayed here there was a service that cleaned the rooms and changed the beds once weekly. There was a 24/7 receptionist in the lobby and the door...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
