Very pleasant hotel in the heart of London. I stayed here because of a work trip to London. The rooms are big and comfortable with an excellent shower, the gym is decent but I was surprised there was no water point in the gym. The breakfast was pretty standard for hotels in the UK, and you don't get good hotel...

We were allocated a really nice room and had excellent service. Staff were welcoming, efficient and handled our queries with expertise. We'd definitely revisit. Lovely location overlooking the park in Vincent Square and very close to Victoria Station, Westminster Cathedral - a must visit - and bus routes.

This is a lovely completely modern hotel that serves well as both a business hotel and a private getaway in London for couples. Rooms are cozy but very well appointed and while from the outside it looks the part of a Victorian era music school, on the inside the full amenities of the 21st century digital age are catered to....

My daughter booked this room as a birthday treat for me. We had never stayed before, and found it easily from Victoria, a 10 minute walk - it is in a lovely quiet area, Vincent Square, yet within close proximity to Westminster, Buckingham Palace and GreenPark. We were able to leave our bags early before checking into the room as...

We absolutely loved this place. The staff was polite, yet very professional. The room was very clean, and nice looking. This hotel is in a great location for going around sight-seeing. Although it was a bit expensive, the breakfast was VERY good and had an excellent variety. The bed was very stiff for me, but my husband loved it. It...

Lovely hotel, not far from Victoria station, I attended a conference there, staff were mostly Eastern European, very pleasant, clean and tidy and food was average as it was a buffet lunch, I would visit hotel as it's in a good location

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night in January. The staff were really friendly and we were allowed to check in early. My room was also upgraded as this was for a special birthday. The room itself was lovely, big beds, very spacious and clean and the shower is potentially the best shower I have ever been in. Room...

The Grange Wellington is a very nice hotel however our stay was let down by a few issues. Due to the nature of the building (sash windows) our room had a cold draft at night, even with the curtains and blinds shut. The windows also allowed a constant noise from the fans outside (kitchen?), this disturbed our sleep. The duvet...

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
