We arrived several hours delayed into London so I was very thankful this hotel was so conveniently located to Liverpool station, which is why we stayed here instead of somewhere cheaper. The front desk is always manned so we had no problems with such a late check-in. This would have been a nice place to stay if we were in...

I arrived late. Outside was noisy people on the street drinking making noise. Reception was poor. Reception staff average. Rooms were dirty. You can hear everything apartments up stairs people suit cases. No air conditioning in the rooms. Plug sockets are not proper 3 pin square but 3 pin round had to swap the bed light for my charger. There...

We had a two bedroom apartment in the fifth floor. Furniture and beds were comfortable. As other have mentioned the place feels a bit claustrophobic since the doors are heavy and automatically close and the bathroom is tiny. In our case we were in apt 506. The living area and one of the bed rooms had air conditioning but the...

We had a room with a kitchen, den, and bedroom. All was wonderful. But the air conditioning is not great, but it sufficed. Staff was friendly. Room was clean and location to the tube station was perfect! Just across the street from Liverpool station.

Spent 2 nights in an 2 bed apartment. There were 5 of us so we had a camp bed aswell. The location is fine although, for those who don't know the area, Liverpool Street station area can be a bit busy, dirty and crowded, particularly on a night, and feels unsafe. There are areas in London that feel safer although...

We have stayed here on three separate occasions and have loved it every time. It is close to everything and the Liverpool Street Station is right across the street. Among the rooms, it features two penthouse suites that are two stories high and have gorgeous views of the street below. Plus one of the penthouses has a private garden terrace...

We booked a 2 bed apartment for the evening of a wedding we were attending (we have a 2.5 year old and sharing a room is worse than hell!). We have used these apartment hotels a lot in Australia, where they do them properly. It has everything you need and is clean but it is SO tired and in need...

Great location. Right next to Liverpool St station. Therefore ridiculously overpriced and frequented by overseas tourists. Two bed apartment was £270 for a night! You only get one bathroom for that. Safe broken. Doors all squeaking to ensure you wake everyone up. Sofas uncomfortable. Bishopsgate on a weekday evening is noisy so you need to be on a high floor....

Decent sized apartment units with well equipped kitchens. Bathroom was claustrophobic with way too much packed in (large tub, washer/ dryer etc). No ventilation in the washroom so was always like a sauna and also sink was strangely so high up that absolutely no kids can reach it (was even tough for somebody 5', 4"). The worst thing about these...

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
