Stayed here for 2 nights on a short break. Location is very convenient, across the road from Liverpool St station, easy access to trains and underground. Walking distance of Tower Bridge, Tower of London and St Catherine's Docks. We were allocated a first floor one bedroom studio which had a bed, kitchenette, dining annexe, separate bathroom and a washing machine....

I've stayed here twice now. Great location opposite London Liverpool Street station. Love having a kitchen too as there is no restaurant. There is a Pret A Manger just a few feet from the front door though. Very clean with an excellent housekeeping service. I'd be happy to stay here anytime.

These apartments are in a great location, lots of amenities nearby and a short walk to Tower Bridge for tourist buses/boats. However, the trade off means it is very noisy day and night. The apartment is quite tired and could do with a freshen up. The master bedroom needed aircon on and the blind shut all the time as the...

If you are looking for serviced apartments on the edge of the City of London then you cannot go wrong with this place. Directly opposite Liverpool Street Station these apartments are spacious and carry most of the comforts of home. As an occasional stayer up in London on business, this would always be my preference - but for 1 or...

We had booked to stay here on 2 occasions in March. The first time We stayed in a 1 bedroom unit on the first floor. There were 3 adults and the apartment was too small for the three of us, the fold up bed in the lounge took up the whole room This unit was nothing like the pictures. The...

Great location 2 mins away from Liverpool Street. The hotel public spaces are a bit tired. My room stank of stale BO and I couldn't get rid of it with the minuscule window openings. The room was big but basic and the sofa was so uncomfortable I spent the evening watching tv in bed. Internet speed is terrible and I...

So glad we chose this property over all of the others we looked at in London. Our room was ready early which was a welcome relief after an overnight flight. The room was well appointed and very quiet. We joked that if our biggest complaint was that the wood floors needed a little buffing, then we had made a good...

I own/operate startups worldwide. I prefer to use skype and VOIP services to communicate and hold conference calls with my management. The internet makes it impossible to have decent conversations via the internet. The signal completely disappears intermittently and often. Its like Africa. This is supposed to be a decent class hotel and internet is rubbish. How you going to...

I cannot fault this apartment complex. Across the road from Liverpool Street station. Quiet and clean. Kitchen and laundry facilities and near Tesco's supermarket. I took my wife in June 2016 to stay here as it was the end of a European adventure. She thought my choice of London accommodation was fantastic. We arrived from Paris on the Eurostar into...

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
