I want to say many thanks to Emir (sorry, if I've not written the name properly), who was at the reception these weekend. He helped me to solve one problem with checking-in very quickly. I'm sincerelly grateful to him. He's exclusively patient and polite person, espesially that I was not in my own's best mood :) Rooms are cosy, they...

Make sure you take the Praed St exit from Paddington Station and you'll be within viewing distance of the hotel. There is a lift, the room we had was spotless, shower small but clean and worked well. We asked for and received more tea and milk without a problem. Breakfast was included and was substantial. We only had one night...

We recently returned from a 2 month trip to London, France and Italy and out of all our accommodation even in B & B's the room that we stayed in has got to be the smallest room of all. After reading the reviews on Tripadvisor we were aware that the rooms were going to be small but quite frankly our...

I always appreciate guest reviews, good and bad. Thank you Campbj for taking the time to review our hotel. The rooms in our hotel are compact due to planning constraints. As we are housed in 2 heavily listed buildings we have to comply with the listed building regulations. Unfortunately this does mean we cannot move some walls, services etc. As...

I had to go to London to a conference in Paddington area. I already had a bad experience in another hotel in Norfolk Square, so I was trying to be more careful and look something better in that area. Overall, I paid a couple of ten pounds more that my other stay, but was definitely worth it. The Castleton is...

Very small room and the smallest toilet i've seen so far, even by London's standard. But good rate for the location. Good location which is right at paddington tube station. Very clean and good service. My stay there was smooth. Free wi-fi which is a plus point. Bfast was excellent.

Small rooms yes. But the location and price were very attractive. I found this hotel to be very clean and safe. I had a single room that I felt had everthing a solo traveler needed. Maid service daily, Breakfast each morning from 7 am to 9:30 am Just down the street is a grocery market. Pubs and food just across...

Very compact, little extra room to move, but the room is clean, offers complimentary breakfast (bacon, eggs, sausages, cereal and toast) and free wifi also a good thing if you (like us) had your own laptop. We had a room by the street which was a little noisy, esp with the bar directly opposite us, so don't stay here on...

Stayed in Castleton hotel recently, and the experience was very unpleasant. In addition to the small room, small lifts, confusing maze of rooms and noisy environment already mentioned by so many people, I had one more horrendous experience. We left our luggage with the hotel on the morning after we checked out, and when we came back to the hotel...

I was sorry to read that SeanNg78 had a less than pleasant experience in our hotel. I reviewed the cctv footage of the reception area as I find it worrying that my staff would leave the hotel reception locked up and unattended for 'such a long time'. Upon reviewing the footage I discovered that the front door had indeed been...

We stayed here for two nights recently. We looked forward to our stay after reading all the good reviews about here on Tripadvisor, but what a disappointment we got. We booked a twin bed room, it was so small, you could hardly swing a cat in it, the ensuite was the size of a toilet on an aeroplane with a...

I would like to thank 'Gooner' for taking the time to write a review of our hotel. Feedback is always welcome and enables us to keep improving our levels of service. Firstly, we are in the process of building some new bedrooms to the rear of the hotel and scoffolding is evident from the street. However, I can not believe...
