Had booked room month and half in advance. Double room with ensuite. When we arrived after 30 hrs of travel at 10pm we were told our room wasn't available. Of course when we were upset and complained about this and they threatened to call the...More
The hotel was aweful. Our room had been recently refurbished and to be fair was clean although tiny and claustrophobic. The front desk staff were friendly but that is all the good points covered. The lobby and stairs were totally run down and the carpets...More
Cold tap doesn't work, booked room for 2 nights but having to change. Beds are comfy but lack of sleep due to light on landing shining through into room all night. Breakfast not very substantial as just toast, big breakfast needed
We paid £120 for one night bed and breakfast. Obviously this is London and we hadn't expected it to be cheap, but, our room was on the 4th floor with no lift and 81 stairs up in all...

Loved this place. Excellent location, a few minutes walk from the tube station (actually to all transportations) convenience stores and restaurants. Close to Hyde Park and most of the tourist spots. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Quiet and comfy room.

Two years later I'm still scarred by this dump! We (over)paid for four nights. Non-refundable, so glad we left after one night. Blood stains on my towel, just to name one issue. I absolutely loved London and had the best time there (aside from this nightmare experience), but I have to question if there's any health standards that need to be met. Am I ok to have a chook pen in London and then chuck a used mattress from a murder scene in there and then rent it out (non-refundable) to unexpected tourists?
The only positive I can see about this rat-hole dump was that we didn't end up like the majority of the characters in the movie "Hostel".
