The room was damp. There was no natural light. There was cracked tiles in the bathroom and the sink pedastal was not attached at all. The tv didn't work. The fire escape stairway was blocked with matresses. The builders were drilling right outside the door at 06:30. Our first night was awful. After complaining (something we have never done before)... The hotel closed after accepting my booking and only gave minimal notice of the closure after taking full payment for the duration of the stay. They then sought to relocate my party in an alternative hotel that was cheaper without refunding the difference. I have had to battle with staff with poor command of written English to secure a refund... More

I made a reservation at this hotel via booking.com. After that I write an email to the hotel directly in order to confirm that everything is ok with my reservation and they reply me and confirm that there is no problem and my reservation if confirmed. If there will be any issue charging my account they will contact me. One... More

Nice place to stay for short term holidays or weekend. We we're living in level ground double bed room with windows to the stairs on the street. Before coming to hotel we we're not informed about the floor, what was a suprise. Unfortunately due to stairs view, there was no day light at all. Also, I would advise to work... More

We got totally bitten by bedbugs....and they were crawling around on our luggage. Terrible stay. The reception did not seem particularly concerned by this. Noisy hallways--I guess people were walking around all night, banging the fire doors shut. Decent location, but not worth the bed bugs.

Friendly welcome from staff on arrival it was just a one night stay, decent breakfast which was included in the price. A lot of internal building work going on which it did not say anywhere on booking website!!! Situated on a nice quiet street, handy for Lancaster park/Kensington Park literally at the bottom of the street. Clean, very small bathroom... More

Nice hotel quite close to London center, small rooms and one of the beds was a sofa.... So not the best option. The breakfast small variety but still everything acceptable! The worst, not elevator and no lockers to keep the luggage before to enter the room

We stayed at the Craven Hotel for 3 nights when we first arrived in London, England. This was our first time to London traveling from Kitchener, Canada. We chose this resort based on trip advisor reviews and mainly, the price. It seemed to be the most affordably priced hotel, in a good area of town, that was rated horribly. It... More
