My partner and I stayed here for two nights March 2017. We chose this travel lodge as it was a good price for a two night stay in London and close to the tube station to get in to central London. Needless to say we were very apprehensive about staying here with all the very poor reviews and we were...

The Hotel was in an ideal location for visiting London whilst being far enough away so as not to be ripped off by over priced bars and restaurants in the West End and Central London. The staff where very helpful and friendly and we would definitely stay again

Only a 10 minute walk from Kingscross. Staff very friendly and could not do enough for you. Bed was comfortable , room was a little tired and could do with a refurb. Shower over the bath was not great, paid for Internet access but was not given a code and no one in my party was. Breakfast was ok, but...

I rated the hotel a four only because it is quite dated, and the rooms/bathrooms very small, but on the plus side it's value for money, excellent staff, excellent breakfast, it's clean and tidy, and great location a ten minute walk from kings cross station with easy access across London

Chose this travel offer after using the company before. This had good location and was a little bit cheaper than premier inn. Just went away on a couple of days trip to London so only used the room for sleep. The reception staff were rude, didn't tell us where to go or where the room was or rudely answered when...

I stayed at this particular Travelodge on a recent trip to London with my sister. My expectations for this hotel were not high originally, as I understand that Travelodges are hotels of convenience and therefore cheaper, but my lord did it take the biscuit. The cheapest room we could find was on the business floor. Sounds classy, right? Might aswell...

Just 10 mins walk from Kings Cross Station. Really helpful staff at Reception were so polite and friendly. The hotel is functional but our room was in need of refurbishment. The shower was temperamental and the window ill-fitting and banged with every gust of wind. We also found it rather noisy outside with late night revellers in the early hours...

The good: Bars and shops close by. The tube is about a 7 minute walk away. Linen and towels clean. Staff seemed friendly enough. WiFi signal very good. Bar onsite. Cheap. Bed comfortable. The bad: Looked like some one had opened a can of beer up against the bedroom wall. It didn't get cleaned off during our nearly week long...

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighbourhood Profile
Clerkenwell
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
