Location is everything in London, at least for me. Hotel is located right behind the Whitleleys mall. Very close to two tube stations and many bus lines. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. Hotel is clean and quite modern to be in London. Room was tiny but clean and beds were comfy. And central heating was workin...and there was...

Great hotel in fantastic location. Very clean modern rooms. Beds were really comfy and no noise at all. Very poplar hotel, rooms are limited, book early. Internet is not free but that is the only bad thing.

I had a most pleasant experience here and must say it was full value for the money spent. The hotel is clean and the staff were really good. The room i stayed in was well presented. Unlike some others this had the feel of a homely experience. Will recommend anytime.

My hubby and I stayed at this hotel in May as part of our 3 week European vacation. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room itself is small, especially the bathroom however it was clean and contemporary. The bed was fairly small for two people but comfy. A plus about the...

Good place. We had a gardenview-room. This was realy nice, despite in front of the Hotel first comes a normaly not very busy, litte street, only for residents, but two times at night it was quiete noisy because of some Trucks delivered something to the Hotel. They would better deliver the early morninghours. The room was a bit small but...

My wife and i stayed at the London House back in May. I have been meaning to write a positive review since then because good service deserves good comments. The location is great. The main plus was the attitude of the management and staff. I had a couple of conversations with them and it was clear that they were working...

I have stayed in London many times in various hotels and been dissapointed but not at this one, an extremely clean and comfortable hotel with courteous staff, free wi-fi, safe and fridge in the room. An ideal location, quite, near many good restaurants and very handy for the underground. This is the only hotel I have ever stayed at and...

Once you get past the airy, modern chic lobby and the uniformed bellhop, it was all downhill. Our hearts sank when we reached the corridor leading to the room. The carpet was worn out and stained. The walls looked like they haven't been painted for decades. The roorm itself wasn't much better. We had booked a "small double" and so...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
