The hotel is in a very convenient location, close to Bayswater station, and a walking distance from Kensington Gardens and Palace as well as Notting Hill and Portobelo road market. The room was comfortable, clean and warm. The breakfast was excellent, specially considering the price, only 7 pounds. The receptionists could be a little friendlier, with the exception of the...

The room was small, cosy, clean and pretty good standard. Hotell staff was welcoming and service minded. The only real drawback was sounds from other rooms and hallways. Well worth the price of the room.

Stayed here overnight as we were having a meal at Le Gavroche, and seeing the Lion King the next day. Room small, not a good view, however could not fault anything about the hotel and service. Location fantastic. Local to bayswater tube. Tree lined streets. Lovely.

The location is excellent, very near a tube station (Bayswater), and close to a busy shopping area, the large shopping mall (Whiteley) is very near, the large Royal Park Kensington Gardens is 3 minutes walk away. The rooms are excellent and clean, the reception is manned 24/7 and excellent, helpful people. The reception area is very light and airy. We...

We stayed here in December 2016 as part of a special birthday. The hotel is very clean and central yet surprisingly quiet. The room had a lovely full length window overlooking a small tree lined square. The room and bathroom (with shower, no bath) was however, very small. We secured this hotel for a good price and it was value...

Stayed 2 nights here in a ground floor room, very centrally located yet very quiet, small bedroom and bathroom but very clean and designed to maximise space. The Bayswater district/circle line tube station is a 3 minute walk away. Loved it and would definitely stay again.

What a little gem! We were so impressed with the value at this place - the whole hotel was clean and smart. The lobby felt very decadent for the price! Our room was very small, but we knew this upon booking and wasn't a problem at all for one night. Bathroom was lovely, with a very powerful shower and the...

We were in London for a night and wanted a place to stay. After checking prices and availability we checked TripAdvisor for reviews, this hotel came highly recommended. The hotel is on a quiet square and is just a few minutes away from amenities and tube stations. The hotel itself is a lovely building and is well decorated throughout. The...

I found this hotel through this site. Based on the reviews I inquired and booked. It's a jewel in the Kensington area. Near this tube station Queensland, about 8 min walk you are on your way to explore Greater London. Upon arrival, the front staff was extremely pleasant and courteous. I arrived a bit early and my room was ready...

This hotel is ideally located just steps from Bayswater tube station. It is situated in a cul-de-sac overlooking a lovely little park. The rooms are spotless but very very small. Myself and my daughter had only hand luggage, so it wasn't a problem. If we had taken a cases with us, then things might have been different. However, I notice...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
