I booked this hotel exclusively for its affordable fares and I got what I have payed for. Check in hour at 3pm and check out at 10am can give a good picture of the spirit of this hotel. The room was just refurbished and indeed was small, but ok, bathroom small but with good shower, clean sheets, view to ictoria...

I was due to stay in this hotel after making a booking nearly 2 weeks ago. Today I got a phone call to say that there had been an error with my bank card and it had been declined but when I rang the bank they had no evidence of a transaction even being made! They claimed to have emailed...

I gave it 2 stars only because the location was good, right next to the station. Otherwise, 1 star is more than enough for it, the room was really tiny, 2 people can hardly stand in there at the same time, one has to sit on the bed for another to pass. Saggy beds, train tracks right ouside the window,...

*This is my first review, so may be a little all over the place* I've gave this 5 stars not for the quality of the hotel but for just how happily surprised I was. After reading the reviews on here I was worried that staying here was going to ruin my weekend. How wrong I was! My girlfriend and I...

I'd not recommend this hotel. Booked over the internet using Booking.com I paid £105 for two adults and a child. The internet price was more than the rack rate! We were shown to a basement room which had a double bed which was clean and adequately made up. There was a set of bunk-beds that had graffiti from past guests....

Located only a few minutes away from the Victoria station with trains, buses and the subway. I had a family room with two beds for the first night there. It was large, but quite noisy, because it was close beside the breakfast room and staff from the hotel was running around in front of my room door in the evening....

A typical London budget hotel, everything was as expected (small room, old furniture, funny bathroom...). The location is very good, 10min walk to Victoria station, friendly and safe neighbourhood. But every experienced London visitor knows this type of hotel. Cleanliness o.k., tea and coffee making fac. exist. Rail track very near, but not to loud. Recommendation to advanced London tourists,...

The experience was terrible. The sound of the trains passing through the station at night was unbearable as the these were really close and the thin glass of the window barely block the noise, it was impossible for me to sleep. The room was also extremely hot and that was weird considering it was winter and that the heater was...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
