Stayed for one night because it was close to Victoria Coach Station and Royal Albert Hall. Booked a Triple room for My friend and I as we wanted the en-suite facilties and the continental breakfast advertised. We are both in our 70's and have stayed at some bad accomodation in the past but this was the pits! What can I...

If you are wanting an inexpensive bed, with an adequate breakfast, just 5 minutes from Victoria Station that is quiet, clean, and with good service - then the Holly has a high recommendation. It's basic yes, but ticks the boxes when you're wanting to spend your cash on 'Doing London' not being done by London. We'll go there again.

Holly house has small rooms situated 2minutes walk from Victoria station. It has perfect location. The rooms are clean but very small. You can barely walk around the bed. Yet they have managed to squeese in everything you need. They have a fridge, coffeemaker and an ensuite. If you get a room towards the street its quiet enough but the...

Booked this hotel as London was very busy on this day and this was pretty much all that was available for a reasonable price. I was a bit concerned after reading the reviews...but....it was fine. Check in was easy. I had an ensuite room which was small but I was only going to sleep there! The bed was comfortable and...

To be in such a fantastic location, and be that cheap, something had to give, and predictably it was the overall quality of the hotel. The room wasn't spotlesslessly clean and the bathroom was the size of a small walk-in wardrobe. When using the toilet your knees will meet the wall if you're tall enough. Luckily for my partner and...

Room extremely small, in a triple room we have to put out bags stacked between the double bed and the single one and to get to the bathroom, we have to jump them :)). The room was also dirty, the bathroom the same. The sink leakage didn't stop the whole 3 nights of our stay. We have breakfast included, but...

Excellent location however our room was less than 20 mtrs from a Victoria platform. Room had single bed and bunk beds. Impossible to pass each other. Ensuite shower and toilet tiny. We were taken down road as it seems at least 4 hotels in one. Breakfast adequate just cereals and toast. Clean sheets and towels. It would have been quieter...

Stayed there for 4 nights last September. It's in a great location near the train station and bus station. It's only a few minutes walk from Buckingham Palace. It wasn't by any means the greatest of places I've stayed in but it was great for what we wanted it for and the price. The rooms were clean to a standard...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
