I chose this place (actually, the Central Hotel but they put me in the Fairway) from the generally positive reviews and the very reasonable price / close to major transport (Kings Cross) location. The single room was small (6'x9') with a decent (not sagging) mattress and a small sink. Most importantly, it was clean, as were the bathroom and the...

Clean hotel, very good location. The room and the bathroom are very small. The breakfast is nice but very chaotic and ends earlier

Good points about this hotel are it provides good free breakfast, superb location as it is within few minutes walk to King Cross Tube station & St Pancreas Eurostar station. Hence, we did not have to walk far to take Tube. Staff are friendly and the room is cleaned every day. Toilet is clean too. Bad points about this hotel...

I stayed with a friend just for 2 days , because we need to stay near St Pancras International Station and this hotel is really close to that place. There's no lift at this hotel and I have some trouble for carrying my luggage down and upstairs. Our room was really smal and it was difficult to deal with the...

This hotel is located very close to Kings Cross station, which can be useful but the area is very unappealing. We had to lift our luggage to the third floor without a lift. Our room was tiny and plain. The bathroom looked like it had been built in the 70's but didn't look vintage enough to make it charming. You...

Booked single en-suite room for 9 nights. Apart from the fact that it is very small (including the bathroom) it was clean and cozy. Good English breakefast, nice staff, very good transportation connections. Highly recommend if you're looking for a cheap but honest place to stay in London.

I stayed here for one night as a last minute stay and only booked an hour before arrival. Staff were friendly. Single room was tiny and the walls were very thin. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Shared toilet and shower in the hallway which wasnt ideal. Breakfast (included in price) was far too greasy. Housekeeping staff were too noisy and rather...

My daughter and I stayed there for 4 nights. Very clean, friendly hotel. Breakfast was really nice. Our room was on the 2nd floor at the back of the building and provided a nice safe quiet environment for sleeping. Well situated for the underground and buses for a very short journey to all the main attractions.

Highly recommendable : For location, cleanness , afordability. I took the economy single room and was pleasently surprised at the quality they can offer for such a small -for London- price. Sorry that upon leaving , forgot to return the key.

Booked two rooms, one for myself and one for my daughter and her friend who were going to a concert in Camden. Had a first floor and second floor room. Both were excellent, clean and tidy. Small but adequate for our needs. The breakfast was good. The location is excellent and I would certainly recommend and stay at this hotel...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
