We booked a weekend at the Marriott Park Lane again this year. I let them know in advance that it was my wife's birthday and that we were returning again this year. As a consequence they upgraded us to Executive Club membership, and the management also presented my wife with an individual birthday cake in the room. The service at... More

We've been to London on vacation many times, and this is by far the best hotel we've stayed at. The location is terrific right by Hyde Park, the Marble Arch tube station and shopping on Oxford Street. The hotel is impeccable - fabulous room, including the linens, terrific Executive Lounge and the staff were so friendly and considerate. They even... More

Stayed one night on business. Right at the Marble Arch end of Park Lane - easy to get to. Deluxe Room was a good size (unusually for me there was no reason to change it), king bed and well equipped bathroom with an electric mechanical toilet seat (had never seen one before - ingenious). Reception and bar service impeccable. Will... More

Great location at the top of Oxford Street overlooking Marble Arch and close to the tube. Fantastic staff, from the doorman's smile that's where the red carpet treatment begins and it doesn't stop. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the Berkeley Suite, what a Wow! We arrived very early, so took advantage of the executive lounge and stopped... More

Stayed for a night in the Park lane Marriott for a short visit to London. The hotel is centrally located in the heart of Park lane at a very quiet district, with a small entrance. The room was very clean, modern and spacious. Staff were very attentive and helpful. I haven't tried eating in the hotel since I only stayed for... More

We booked 2 rooms for the weekend to celebrate our daughters birthday. It was everything we expected and more. The location is perfect for everything, right beside Marble Arch tube station and Oxford Street. The staff are all friendly and helpful, but especially Amin the doorman, who made us feel special, as if we stayed there regularly. The rooms are... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
