I've been staying at this hotel Whilst working in London. The standard of accommodation is very good and the staff are always pleasant and helpful. My thoughts are that the breakfast on its own is expensive, but the meal deal which includes breakfast, a two course meal and a drink is not only excellent value for money, but also above...

Was here for 3 nights and it was an excellent stay. Everything was spotless, the staff were great (friendly but not prying) and the only small issue I had (tv not working) was immediately rectified as soon as I mentioned it. I stayed the night of the Westminister attack and despite the hotel clearly being at max capacity the staff...

The staff at the Premier Inn (Old Street) really are welcoming, hardworking, courteous and a fantastic example of how employees in the hospitality trade should function. I have visited on a number of occasions and the level of service/friendliness is consistent.

Another Premier Inn knocking it out of the park. Expectations exceeded. Friendly staff, good price, clean room and great location. This hotel is ideally situated if you wanted to explore the Shoreditch area or Brick lane for a curry.

Premier Inn is a chain and once you've been there you know what to expect. Comfortable beds- yes they keep going on about it but I have to say after staying in a few other hotels I have to agree! As someone with an assistance dog I am not always welcomed. Sad fact. However, here the staff have been fabulous,...

At first site, this hotel appears quite nice, but first problem we encountered, was that there was no parking! I had to sit in the car, so as not to get a parking ticket, whilst hubby took the bags up to the room. We then had to drive to an NCP and walk the 10 minutes walk back. On arrival...

Staying in Shoreditch

Neighbourhood Profile
Shoreditch
The western front of the edgy East End, Shoreditch is a perennially trendy haven for anything “street” – be it art, food, or fashion. With its handful of well connected transportation links dotting its perimeter, along with an ever increasing variety of shops, hotels, bars, and restaurants, it's easy to explore this trend-conscious and youth-oriented neighbourhood. There's a lingering post-industrial grit about Shoreditch, but because it shares a border with “The City” financial district, the influence from its upscale neighbour can result in fascinating outcomes.
