We found this was a good hotel for us as it is close to underground stations, walking distance from Sainsburys (grocery store) and a laundromat, and very easy to make your way back to from wherever you go during the day. The staff were excellent, one receptionist in particular was outstanding, extremely helpful and friendly and went out of her...

It was the best hotel experience ever, starting from the premium quality of furniture and the beauty of the rooms, to the excellent service that the warmest and kindest staff offers everyday. If I ever return to London, I know that this will be the hotel for me.

One of a number of hotels located along the Cromwell Road so is well placed for Kensington, Notting Hill, Earls Court and Hammersmith. Although the address does not show it, the hotel is actually on the corner of Lexham Gardens and the Cromwell Road so do not bother walking around Lexham Gardens itself. The hotel is mid way between Earls...

Everything was modern and clean, but we couldn't get over how small the room was. The only way to get around the bed was shuffling sideways. Luckily we didn't have too much luggage so didn't have to worry about where our bags might go! Considering the price, we felt a bit ripped-off for so little space. We didn't eat breakfast...

We stayed here over the weekend - a couple and a two year old. We got a room on the fourth floor which was very small. It had everything that you wanted but was so small you couldn't swing the proverbial cat. We had to put the pram blocking the door. Hotel was clean and if you're using it as...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
