Has a great bar, good staff, good location one block away from the subway (a bit far if you are planning on walking everywhere, though possible - i did it). Bedrooms were big, not so comfortable pillows, but very clean and acceptable bathrooms. GREAT breakfast.

Hi Mabelpera Thank you for your positive review, we really appreciate that you enjoyed your time with us. Just as an FYI there are underground stations within 50yds of the pub. Steve

Stopped off for a drink before walking back to Kensington. Ok. Toilets old and shabby. Tables inside look dirty. Drink ok but charged for using card. Food prices are expensive for the surroundings. Not on list to visit again.

Dear Teresa D Thank you for your review albeit I think it a bit unfair to give us just 1*. I have been in 100's of pubs in London and I know that we are definitely not a 1* pub. Yes we have tried to keep the traditional pub feel, yes we give a traditional pub welcome, yes our menu...

Had the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup + extra syrup on the side and OJ. All good, great service. Was my go to breakfast place for my whole stay! I will go again next trip to London as Paddington is a convenient location for me.

I came here for 2 night stays because it was mentioned to offered "very good breakfast". And it is true! the traditional english breakfast is reallly, really tasty. For the hostel: it is spacious, clean, and the toilet is frequently cleaned. The location is just strategic. The pub is good as well. I tried the beer and fish& chips, both...

I stayed here for a week, the staff were friendly, the food was okay and it was a great location for seeing London (3 minute walk to train station)! BUT the beds were extremely uncomfortable, there were no proper utensils or cutlery for the kitchenette (just a lot of knives and salad bowls!) and also nothing to clean up with....

The hostel is 3 minutes’ walk from Paddington station. The staff is friendly. The Wi-Fi works well also in the dorms. The hostel has a late check-out time. The breakfast is free and you can choose from many different options in the pubs breakfast menu. The pub was a popular breakfast place also for people who did not stay at...

We stayed in Paddington in 08/08 simply because of Hyde Park & the starting pt. for a tour, & found The Pride quite by accident. Found the food, drink & service excellent. Rugby songs being sung on the patio cemented our affection for this place. The big reason we stayed again in Paddington is The Pride. They didn't disappoint. Love...

I stayed here for one night as I had business in London. I only needed somewhere to get ready and rest my head for a few hours before coming home so I thought the double room with private bathroom would be perfect for that. The price was £80 for the night which is quite good in central London but not...
