The room was on a slant, the bed was just some sheets, the receptionist was rude, the shower took 10mins to heat up, the place smelt, there's no toilets in your room, the windows didn't open, the walls where paper thin. Worst hotel I've ever been to

I left the hotel after the one night stay (originally planned to stay 5 nights). After lengthy negotiations I was promised to receive the money back for the remainig 4 nights, which I never did. In fact, the receptionist at first gave me the money back in cash, but then asked me under tears to return the cash (otherwise she...

Where do I start. I was put into a room that was akin to a prison cell. There was a communal toilet (which I was not told when booking) as a woman I was frightened to go to the bathroom and feared for my safety especially in the early hours of the morning. There was raucous behaviour and banging of...

Booked this Hotel on line 2 days before arrival and then noticed my partner had already booked somewhere. I requested a cancellation which went through but no refund so money was wasted. Then I looked at the reviews and was very glad I was staying somewhere else! Somewhere there is a property owner who is using this as a cash...

Booked this "hotel" for a one night stay. I'm well aware that it's a budget hotel but for £65 I would expect something basic but decent. It is London for Gods sake! Clean it up properly and increase the price if you have to. But do not make people sleep in such a horrible place. This place should be shut...

Staff at desk gave us the key and just pointed at where to go to get to our rooms because they couldn't be bothered to show us. Took us about 20 minutes to realise it was downstairs. The place is a mess! Rooms dingy with horrible decoration. Shared toilets which stink! People in the kitchen cooking curry at 1:00am stinking...

It was expansive for what they were offering. Not clean and a mission impossible to find the room number. No towels at all in the room and bathroom was the smallest bathroom ever. Do not waste your money on this hotel, better sleep under the bridge.

I was in London for one night, I booked this Hotel. The staff is not so kind. The room was little and too old. The bathrooms, in common with other people, were new and clean. The only positive thing. Good position but is not worth the price.

I've been reading lots of reviews, mostly terrible. Well, you cannot expect to have luxury and amenities like a 4 or 5 stars hotel in the center of London paying 50 or 60 pounds. I personally, did not like it, but I will try to make an objective review: THE GOOD: The hotel is really cheap considering the location. It...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
